This was very good and sad.

Enjoyed this very much! Destiny is a 'big brother' in the sense of caring for his imprisoned sibling, and his sibling's loyal 'friend'. Nice job!

This is really fascinating. The bit of exposition about the soul of the endless was kind of abrupt, a little jarring, which bothered me because I wanted to remain in the narrative completely because I really, really enjoyed it. It seems like there has to be a way to work that fact in without just having it explained, and if it has to be explained, not so out of the blue. Of course having said that I have no idea how one might do that, but I was extremely taken with the piece, the last note was excellent as was the entry of Lucien into the gallery. Neat stuff, thanks.

Ho ! Thanks!
I like both of them, but never would have thought seeing them interacting (though, it's maybe because I haven't read all the sandman yet...). You gave more depth than the one we usually see in Destiny, and it was very well done... The idea there's is something more to the Endless, something close of a soul, was brilliant. I enjoy the way you see that at the origin of the garden's existence...
As for Lucien, he is just perfect, so very IC...
It gives your story a certain quality, this feeling of melancholy and tenderness that flushes through the simple dialogue...
Really, thanks again... (and please, forgive me not to be able to really express what I feel in English...)

I like it, a little short, but you did say it was a one shot
