dude, fantastic story, you really capture so much more of who Naruto is than even the anime series does... kinda sad in a way, but i digress. Love how you deal with his childhood and his reactions to the various important events, i.e. finding out about kyuubi, people not telling him who his parents are, etc. His reactions in the anime are soooo poorly handled, they are far too stereotypical a lot of the times, and they don't really give the character any depth, something which I'm happy to say you had no problem doing. I especially liked the interactions between Naruto and some of the other kids, like Shino, Sasuke, Hanabi, Hinata, etc. Anyway, great job with this story, I've really enjoyed reading it.

The reactions of everyone either makes me smile, laugh, or feel sad.

But I'm guessing this won't be updated for a long time.

But I'm still glad that I read this.

The only problem I have with this fic is the fact that it hasn’t been updated in ages. The idea of everyone reading about Naruto’s “hidden demons” in a novel he wrote was a cool concept. If you ever decide to update, you’ll have quite a few thankful readers, based on the over one thousand positive reviews it has received, myself included.

Well, it seems you have abandoned this fic... I'm sorry to see that. This is one of the best fics I have ever read, and I would have liked to know the ending. If ever you decide to resume work on this, I'd like to know Gaara's reaction to the book. And Jiraiya's. And maybe Sasuke? (Please?) Oh, and the Anko thing? It. Was. Priceless. As soon as you started the tale, with the whole "do a demon" thing, I was like "It HAS to be Anko!" And I was right! Yay me! But, Kami, that was funny! This is an utterly fascinating, completely wonderful story. I love the format you are using. Everyone's different reactions to things make me unable to stop grinning, though I feel sorry for Naruto... Who'd have ever guess he'd be such a powerful and moving writer? I like the idea he has that connection with the Hyuuga, and I loved seeing these stories from his childhood. I wonder how people are going to react to his recitation of the chuunin exams...?

I'm slightly worried about Neji after these last lines...
