I think having the chapters at your short length is helpful. It's the question of how much is part of a character based on their gender: is Sokka usually lazy and clueless and whatnot because he's male? Wouldn't Katara still go to her brother for advice sometimes?

I am guilty, and I have to be honest: when I saw the word "genderbending", I just sat in from of my computer and waved my hands back and forth spastically for a while, grinning.
