I'm amazed that you managed to make a single day in the life of Minerva McGonagall so entertaining, and the best part is that it's all 100% believable. Thanks for a good laugh, and I'm glad she finally got her hot cocoa at the end!

Much like Minerva was in this chapter, I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe at many points through this story. I love how everyone is just so completely Done with Umbridge and even McGonagall has started covering for her students as long as they continue to target Umbridge specifically. I love Nott's summary of the Slytherin Soap Opera that McGonagall immediately regrets asking about, her reaction to the banning of Hot Chocolate, the multiple increasingly-weird trips to the Hospital Wing, Snape and Sinistra shouting insults at each other, McGonagall "cooperating" with the aurors and the aurors subsequently also joining the "Completely Done With Umbridge Club" after Minerva leads them on a wild goose chase across the grounds, and everything else.

I'm glad she eventually got her Hot Chocolate in the end.

This has always been one of my favourite stories. I reread it every time I need a laugh so thank you. The jokes never get old and it’s probably the best Minerva story in the entire fandom. The basilisk and a disco ball thought cracks me up every time!
