| Guest chapter 1 . 10/12/2004 This must be my 3rd or 4th time reading this story. It's just THAT good. Though, I must agree, the ending seemed rushed. A good ending, just a bit rushed. Anyways, it brings tears to my eyes to see Yuffie and Vincent be so in character. AS much as they possibly can be, while having them interact with each other. The ONE thing I don't like, due to personal preferences, is the way Cloud is in this story. Sure, it's been 5 years, and he's gotten very friendly with Tifa, but honestly, THAT'S IT? 5 years, and he's still bent on thinking about Aeris in almost everything he does? I honestly don't think so. Especially with Tifa there. There's just no way that he can live with her for so long, and not feel for her, even if you truly believe that he had no *feelings* for her in FFVII. Even he needs to move on. You probably may have done this characterization of him JUST for this story, but I personally think it's incorrect. But that's just me. The story itself deserves a lot of praise. Well written, funny, sad, everything you could want, besides action, and this fic didn't need it, of course. Keep at it Guardian. One of my faves, multiple years and counting. |
