I lovd ho Sheppard took car of McKay in the first one, and how Sheppard went after him in the hospital, and this last part was great, "the friends thing" thing...how so very sweet!

I've never tried writing first person from the POV of a canon character, I imagine it would be a bit tougher than 3rd person. You did an excellent job with it. John's voice is absolutely spot on.

They are indeed an unorthodox pair, loved the way Shep remembered Sam being surprised ;) So glad you have written this mend in their friendship, sad that McKay had to open negotiations, but glad that Shep came good in the end. No wonder we find them so fascinating. Excellent work.
