I know this story is finished, but YES! Harry's poor teacher should be told that he is could be told that he is in witness protection and getting a new name.
Also Sirius needs to contact that nice man who took him in, and let him know the dog is ok.
Remus could be " taking a holiday" by the sea , with his dog. And the dog could lead him to Mr Grimes, was it? The man who took Sirius in.
