Sigh I still find some of the charges for the Dursleys bogus.

I appreciate that the kidnapping charges were dropped! I still find the thought of faking Harry's murder a bit extreme but at least the charges are more fair here.

I am not sure if I believe what is being said here. Would child abuse charges especially with evidence this strong only result in slaps on the wrist? There are several witnesses of Dudley's bullying as well! I love this story but I am beginning to grow annoyed. The fact that the "heroes" in a sense of the story are collaborating to falsify evidence is disturbing. As I said, the Dursleys are terrible but the ethics of what these people are planning is terrible. Especially when you recall that it was Dumbledore who left Harry with them - they never asked for Harry. It's almost sick for him to turn around and blame them for kidnapping!

I don't know how I feel anymore. I was, am, happy that Harry and Sirius got justice but the bad-minded here in this chapter is disappointing. It would be easier to swallow if the evidence for abuse was small but it's not.

I have so many emotions. I don't see the point in reviewing since the story is so old but I can't help myself.

First, Dumbledore. The guy was a bastard but I appreciate how he turned around even if it took Harry almost dying to do so. Nice that he is finally helping Harry.

Second, Sirius, Snape and Remus are amazing here. Lupin and Sirius get to be good uncles and Snape is able to reconcile and heal from their antagonistic relationship from school. Great development.

However, I want to play devil's advocate here. The whole muggle and wizarding world separation pose a mental problem for me. The concept of muggleborn kids is a logistic nightmare which invites some ethical problems. Like Lily Evans just vanishing. Let's say that the Dursleys were kind to Harry, they could still be faced with kidnapping unless someone like Dumbledore commits crimes against the privacy and agency of innocent people like police trying to do their job. I hate the Dursleys but I believe in fairness and they do not deserve the kidnapping charge. Child abuse and neglect, absolutely but not kidnapping. The schooling problem is also a concern. What should parents say if someone asks where their kid goes to school?

I may be the odd one out but I hate how Dumbledore faked Harry's death. Once again, I believe in fairness and the Dursleys should not be imprisoned for a crime they did not commit. Just like force suggestion in Star Wars, it makes me uncomfortable seeing the memories of the hospital staff and others who cared about Harry's wellbeing being manipulated like this.

You should’ve changed the previous chapter if you decided to not bring up kidnapping charges on the Dursleys in chapter 8 smh. You making this fanfic confusing. You should rewrite the paragraphs in the chapters where you had Bones, Sirius and Dumbly agreeing with the kidnapping plot. This the 2nd time you changed your mind within the story and never went back to correct the chapters before SMH
