Is this the end? I sure hope not. It's on hell of a cliffhanger you left me/us on... Please, finish it with something like the (main) Pikmin goes to Heaven (where else do those ghosts go when they float UP?) and meets the yellow Pikmin with that bud, the white Pikmin, and that one mushroom Pikmin who committed suicide. That would be cool. Or make him live, and all the other mushroom Pikmin he (just) rescued realize what he just did, and save him or something.

Wow... that's all i can say is Wow. You do a great job at portraying the emotions the hero is feeling. i felt like i could see what was happening and like i could feel his emotions. The whole battle however felt like one big cloud of confusion and i actually had to read it over multiple times to actually understand what was happening. I am unsure whether or not it was intended, but i do know that having too much emotion reflected in the writing can turn some readers off especially if the emotion is confusion. Seeing it come to an end like THIS in the middle of a spored rusted arena surrounded by what he once was doesn't seem like the right scene for an ending to this story. But it isn't over is it? If it were over the little "complete" sign would be on it . whether or not next chapter is the last or you continue it, the ending to this epic is something i look forward too. I hope to see this develop more or end, i also hope to see better things from you.

It's... so beautiful. I left Fanfiction for over a year recently remember it, came back to the pikmin section(my favorites), and saw this story. I didn't expect much at first, but it has grown to be my favorite in only 2 days. I can't believe it... I just can't believe that it has so many emotions rolled into one action packed quest for meaning. A connection to friends, the learning of life and death and what it means to be self aware and to fight to the death for a cause. It's so damn beautiful. When I die and go to heaven, I'll ask god to completely forgot this story 100%, so I can read it over and over again and be filled with complete happiness that I feel now.

I am so disappointed in this... Not because it isn't awesome (which it is) it's just I think that this is the end of it all and I'm like noooooooo you can't do that to me I like this story!

I admire your story writing abilities, but I really wish you wouldn't so unabashedly rip off the Borg. I mean, base them on the Borg, if you want, but don't use all the same terms. Resistance is futile, drones, assimilate, if your going to say those, at least give credit where it's due. Otherwise, really good.

*Super-evil criticism mode* You do strange punctuation. I don;t midn the lack of it for effect in a lot of places (although you inconsistently switched between use of elipses and just nothing) but there about two places where you used full stops/periods/whatever you call them where I thought that should surely be a comma or something. Oh, and you put breath instead of breathe near the beginning, I think.

All in all, I liked all the short sentences/non-sentences for effect with all the tension and pace built up. The struggle to get to the puffstool was great, and I loved the pikmin versus puffstool ideological battle at the end, a theme of the importance of emotions which is used a lot and all, but was still brilliant.

I am now left wondering if there'll be another chapter ... I think that this would make a great end to the whole story (being a really awesome chapter with a really awesome ending), but maybe an epilogue to tie things up?

Whatever the case, amazing chapter and amazing story altogether.

You... you did it. You've done what I thought was close to impossible, and brilliantly at that. You wrote a chapter where everyone mostly stands around and yet made it... electrifying.

Magnificent. Simply magnificent. I was actually predicting him to hijack the puffstool and force it into his own "slave" to give the mushroom pikmin freedom. But I was wrong, and what actually happened was better, so nice.

Great chapter! Glad to see the Blue Pikmin had finally won. Didn't expect the twist though, as I had predicted a massive battle. So, is this conclusion, or will their be one final chapter?
