It's your job "to look out for the homeowner"? There is a seriously injured child lying in front of you, half dead, but do you get the childing medical attention? No! You just want to "look out for the homeowner." For Christ's sake! Ridiculous!

I would like to say that I REALLY enjoyed reading this. For about five months, I have been trying to find another Snape-mentors-Harry-fanfic that gets Snape's characterization and your story just captures that perfectly! I like how you have him and the Trio interact; how those interactions just are so believable and how well you were at making their trust/acceptance of one another a slow process. Thank you for this great read! Keep writing. You're talented.

Just finished reading your wonderful story. I am in awe of the fascinating ways authors create for Severus to become Harry's guardian/mentor. This was another marvellous story in that vein. I liked you Harry, so vulnerable when he regressed to a child after the severe abuse he endured at the hands of his brutal uncle. Reading Severus develop & become exactly what Harry needed was enjoyable. I look forward to reading the sequel. Thankyou.

Psshh, I knew you were going to go for the drama and trauma as soon as I read the part where harry was traumatized by music. Although I kind of think that Phantom of the Opera only has a very superficial similarity to Harry Potter and Voldemort. It is only that ff net has a very wide range of audience, from thirteen to thirty, as they say, that anyone might be shocked by twists in the plot. Don't be sorry for the story, only put the warning for future violence at the top of the 1st chapter, so there's less chance of those who are younger from reading something they weren't prepared for.
On another note, I'm glad to see Harry is back to his old self, although I have no idea if it could possibly happen that fast in real life. Just like Harry to choose the most inopportune moment!

I'm sorry to break it to you, but "Learn to be Lonely" is definitely NOT in the live production, whether it is in the movie or not.

I'm sure someone else must have put this in their review before me, but... the last bit was so Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along." haha
I'm sort of relieved and disappointed that older Harry has come out again. Little Harry and Snape were so cute together, but I used up three tissues on those chapters.
