| wrappedinharry chapter 1 . 5/30/2012
Well, I agree with your other reviewers in that this little story is very sweet and romantic. No problems with that at all.
But what I don't understand is how Ron and Hermione managed to walk around Hogsmeade and then enter Madam Pudifoots without their being recognised? Surely there would have been photos in the newspapers of Hermione at least (the DEs thought they knew Ron's whereabouts:in bed at the Burrow with Spattergroit) and being the careful, levelheaded witch she is, I cannot believe she would have Apparated into Hogsmeade when every DE and his dog is hunting Harry, and by default, her. They didn't even seem to have Polyjuiced themselves and there was a Caterwauling charm placed over the whole of Hogsmeade to alert the DEs to their presence. (Though perhaps it was just Harry's presence.
Anyway, it just seems to have been a very big risk to take. If it was Christmas shopping they wanted to do, surely big, bustling and anonymous Muggle London would have been a safer option. And if Ginny was able to get out from under Molly's gimlet eye to sneak off to Hogsmeade, then surely she could have snuck into Diagon Alley and then entered Muggle London from the Leaky Cauldron.
Still, I am a romantic too and it was lovely to see Hermione and Ron on the same page for once.

Oooh lala that was beautiful! Loved it, it was adorable, and held just the right amount of contempt/indifference towards the excess pink, and just the right amount of awkardness/comfortablenes... And you had them both wonderfully in character. Great fic :D

| Siriusmunchkin chapter 1 . 6/1/2009
Very interesting. Talking with a friend can be nice. Spending time with a friend can sometimes lead to more than friendship. Ron and Hermione were always meant for each other. It just took them longer than it took the rest of the world to notice.

"Madame Puddifoot smiled. Sometimes, on rare occasions, it took ugly cupids and an awful tablecloth to bring a perfect couple together."
