I kind of liked this. It was interesting to see how Peter was growing more like Voldemort through this poem.
It’s getting easier, Sirius
My guilt’s getting smaller
I liked how with those two lines, you showed how Peter was losing his humanity. He feels nothing for the deaths he’s caused (Cedric as well as James and Lily), and he certainly doesn’t seem to feel anything for his parents.
The one emotion left to him, it seems, is pride …
I was passing him information, but it was much longer than a year, Sirius…
Which, funnily enough, is the same emotion that Voldemort has left. Not only is Peter trying to keep the upper hand over Sirius, but he’s really showing here that he has completely sunk to a new level.
