|Reviews for Journey to the West|
| GrumpyGrue chapter 1 . 4/5/2014
Quirky smirky turkey humor. I gobbled this fic. Like a d...wait, rated k. Can't say. But reading this made me gay. As in happy. 7.00001/10. Not crappy! Pai sho that ho! In chinese, Pai sho can mean "smack hand" you know?
| Turtle Kid the Woolgatherer chapter 1 . 11/2/2011
I love this story dearly. Like a beloved second-cousing (whom I do know and like-he's an adorable blonde, who's smart!).
| lalunaticscribe chapter 1 . 1/6/2011
For some inexplicable reason, I feel silly reading this. Is that the intended effect?
| Laryna6 chapter 1 . 11/17/2009
Sokka 'getting lucky' with the moon! The Fire Nation being incompetantly at war for a century because they were drunk! Iroh with his own cult!
Awesome, just awesome!
| Elaienar chapter 1 . 12/28/2008
That cracked me up. XD I only got the Avatar humour, since I've never read (watched? I really must consult Wikipedia on this matter) Journey to the West, but it was plenty hilarious like that.
| Dark Hooded Eriol the Magician chapter 1 . 11/25/2008
That's hilarious! XD
| zukoaang1 chapter 1 . 1/19/2007
Helps in my understanding of the great Chinese tale.
| Lacewood chapter 1 . 11/7/2006
This is quite possibly the GREATEST AVATAR FIC EVER WRITTEN. I. I think I love you.
| Silverlight chapter 1 . 11/7/2006
I snorted tea when I read "non-symmetrical country planning," and completely LOST IT at "Sun Toph." This is wonderful and a great, wonderful way of adapting both series to each other, and oh shit, this whole damned fic was just fantastic.
| Elana chapter 1 . 11/5/2006
That was... AMAZING!
Better watch out for those Pai Sho pimps... oh!
| Riana1 chapter 1 . 11/4/2006
Beyond brillant, but one line got me.
'Aang riding everything from /catelopes/ to giant badger frogs'
I hope against hope that Aanf rode a cat-antelope cross (which would be very pretty come to think about it) and not a giant rolling melon 'cause that I think would break my brain after reading this.
| Icedragon316 chapter 1 . 10/25/2006
Heh. I think I got most of the jokes, at least those pertaining to the Saiyuki version of Journey to the West.
Wow. There was a lot of parody-ing in here, wasn't there? I enjoyed it immensely.
| Lisse chapter 1 . 10/24/2006
You know what'd be cool? If LJ sent me my comment notices. That'd be AWESOME.
Anyway, I love the Journey to the West references, since it really does fit Avatar way better than I thought. The little asides were really funny, and yay Bumi! He was hilarious and scarily spot-on and, like, in the story at all. Also Cabbage Man references for the win.
| Szabotage chapter 1 . 10/22/2006
Bwah-ha-ha! It was the cactus juice, wasn't it? ;-D Honestly, loved it, cracktastic, great parody.
| Jess Readin chapter 1 . 10/22/2006
Very Entertaining! I liked it.
