![]() ![]() This is now my favorite thing in the world. Iroh pimping? Gold. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. My. God. IM DYING LMAO THIS IS TOO GOOD Journey to the West was my childhood and I only recently watched Avatar but wow. I never connected the two. Tbh I completely forgot about zhu ba jie's backstory... You are one brilliant author. I'm staring at the screen trying to emphasize this point. Avatars creators need this. Here's my soul on a platter for writing this. It's filled with nostalgiaaa |
![]() ![]() ![]() Quirky smirky turkey humor. I gobbled this fic. Like a d...wait, rated k. Can't say. But reading this made me gay. As in happy. 7.00001/10. Not crappy! Pai sho that ho! In chinese, Pai sho can mean "smack hand" you know? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story dearly. Like a beloved second-cousing (whom I do know and like-he's an adorable blonde, who's smart!). |
![]() ![]() ![]() For some inexplicable reason, I feel silly reading this. Is that the intended effect? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sokka 'getting lucky' with the moon! The Fire Nation being incompetantly at war for a century because they were drunk! Iroh with his own cult! Awesome, just awesome! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That cracked me up. XD I only got the Avatar humour, since I've never read (watched? I really must consult Wikipedia on this matter) Journey to the West, but it was plenty hilarious like that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That's hilarious! XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Helps in my understanding of the great Chinese tale. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is quite possibly the GREATEST AVATAR FIC EVER WRITTEN. I. I think I love you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I snorted tea when I read "non-symmetrical country planning," and completely LOST IT at "Sun Toph." This is wonderful and a great, wonderful way of adapting both series to each other, and oh shit, this whole damned fic was just fantastic. |
![]() ![]() That was... AMAZING! Heeheehee! Better watch out for those Pai Sho pimps... oh! ~Elana* |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beyond brillant, but one line got me. 'Aang riding everything from /catelopes/ to giant badger frogs' I hope against hope that Aanf rode a cat-antelope cross (which would be very pretty come to think about it) and not a giant rolling melon 'cause that I think would break my brain after reading this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heh. I think I got most of the jokes, at least those pertaining to the Saiyuki version of Journey to the West. Wow. There was a lot of parody-ing in here, wasn't there? I enjoyed it immensely. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know what'd be cool? If LJ sent me my comment notices. That'd be AWESOME. Anyway, I love the Journey to the West references, since it really does fit Avatar way better than I thought. The little asides were really funny, and yay Bumi! He was hilarious and scarily spot-on and, like, in the story at all. Also Cabbage Man references for the win. |
