Loved the banter about their typical injuries...Sam being strangled last year/Dean thrown against walls..Sam being "clocked"...it's no wonder the boy can think anymore, huh?

I wondered why Sam just laid on the ground as well. Glad you touched on this and loved the additional angst to see if Sam was okay by Dean and the thoughts and conversation that followed. It was so believable...Dean not really knowing if he really can defend Sam with the Demon and Sam feeling helpless about being able to protect Dean let alone not ever becoming a problem for him (ie hurting him if the Demon is successful with its plans.

Loved Sam saying he "needed" Dean in this piece. I so wanted him to say it at the end of the eppy where Dean shared his feelings with Sam and cried.

As always, you do a great job! Would love to see you tag all the eppys. Your limp Sam/Dean by his side/ and interesting story plots and lines really are wonderful! I love reading your things!

I like your theory. I wondered why Sam didn't get back up after he opened his eyes.

Your choice of words for Dean were appropriate, Dean felt he had been "mind raped again" when Webber tried to make him kill himself. I felt bad that Dean couldn't fight Andy or Webber's mind suggestions, though he tried and ended up with headaches for his efforts.

Poor Sam worries about being a "killer" because Andy killed Webber, yet in the end Andy saved Dean's life too.

Your right Dean and Sam are together and alive, they can fight whatever comes together.

I freaking love missing scenes, and it's filler-inners like this that make me wonder why this stuff is cut out. Besides, you know, time allotment and all that. ;)

Loved how Sam got his point across that he'd be lost without Dean. You know he wanted to say that at the end of Dead Things, but couldn't bring himself to speak.

Also loved Dean's realization that for all the times he's promised to keep Sam safe, in actuality, he has no idea how to go about that. No doubt he'll do whatever it takes, but not knowing what 'it' is has got to be frightening.

Sticked, phoned, HEE. And the choking. OMG, the choking. I sort of miss it. But JP's neck is awfully big now...it might be physically impossible. Sniff.

CLOCKED. LITERALLY. Oh God, that would be beautiful. Someone should write a fic where a giant grandfather clock falls on Sam. And chimes while going down.

Bee-you-tee-ful missing scene. We really need to petition that this be a two-hour show. (How much would that ROCK?)

I, too, was miffed at how Sam just lay there after he was clearly awake for part of the conversation. The vision of Dean's death did cross my mind, but you would think/hope it would spur him into action. Sigh...

I like this take on the events that happened between what we saw. The guilt of Sam missing another opportunity to save/help an innocent just racks up the miles. Poor boy! And how will Dean cope with the fact that his brother knows his true feelings. Ugh..

Great story I love all the missing scene and tag stories it helps complete the picture for me. I liked how you put in the fact that Dean is really scared that he will not be able to protect Sam no matter what he does but hes going to give everything just like he always does to try to make sure nothing bad happens to him.

That was a pretty good tie-up piece, Faye. I enjoyed it. Gotta love the brother bonding stuff. Thanks!

That just flowed so naturally from where that scene ended on the show. As far as I'm concerned, your story is a much better ending than what the writers came up with.
