I don't know whether I should feel sorry for her or just be plain disgusted. ...I retract that statement; disgust won out in the end. I honestly snorted at the line, "Poor Mary. She imagined herself in love with the Reverend William Collins. Obviously her taste was all in her mouth." That is a great bit of writing. |
