have you ever thought of writting a second weird kid but set it on atlantis like when they bring the kid to see carson and the shrink(i dont know how to spell her name) mabe the ladies could bring some food for rodney and it can take place in the mess hall. that way we get the reactions of the rest of the team and atlantis people.

Wierd story? No! It's really really good! Interesting dynamic!

The comparison at the end with a certain other 'weird kid' was really sweet and a lot more subtle than when 'Teyla ran into him' to shut Rodney up. .~ Yeah, I'm sure the sisters didn't notice their usually graceful former leader's lack of balance - or direction. Speaking of which, that jibe regarding certain other people's sense of direction had me laughing good. *g*

How quickly Rodney figured out what Sheppard had done (and, more importantly, why) as well as his correct assessment of expectations and reactions to the sudden change earlier, was a show of deductive reasoning I thoroughly enjoyed. I always like watching Rodney make good use of that genius brain.

Also, his panicking as quickly as the kid, if more loudly, and being so very simple and honest in his own way when giving admonishment and compliments made for very good reading. Thanks.

I like these stories. Most of the time people just have Rodney in some kind of horrible pain and agony for most of the story. Not many people take time to actually have him be the kinder version of himself. as a side not I also have one of those old Gameboys. 3 lines of pixels are worn out but it still works. Those things were build to last. haha.

This was an adorable story. I love how awkward McKay is, and how he tries to hide his feelings through criticism and hostility, but the kid likes him anyway. So cute!

OMG The warm fuzzies are attacking again. Such a sweet little story this is. Loved the boys reaction when they found out it was Rodney and not Sheppard, and Rodney's subsequent reaction. *cackle* And a first generation Gameboy. Be still my beating heart. Those things are like tanks, last forever, know mines still kicking anyways. And knowing how much it must have meant to Rodney and him giving it to Nash was ubber heart warming.
