Loved the story, have got to say that I have no idea where you plan/ned to go with this. Especially liked the relationship between L/Raito and Misa. L teasing Misa is really cute. I like how you managed to make L's love for Raito realistic and didn't change his character. And your Raito can really be a delusional bastard.
Only one thing that confused me. When the story went around the orphanage about Raito becoming L's successor because they are lovers, why didn't L simply tell everyone that Raito wasn't really a possible successor. I don't think the children would be too shocked to find out that L lied to them in order to make them work harder. And L's relationship with Raito would no longer be viewed so badly because Raito would not be seen as a rival. Just wondered why that wasn't an option...
Beside that I really enjoyed reading this and hope you will one day continue it.

Wow. I mean...wow...I adore this story.
It's had me captivated right from the beginning. After reading this, I think it will be hard for me to read another Death Note Fanfiction. This story is just absolute perfection!

Judging from the fact that this story was last updated in '09, i take it this story is discontinued? TTTT what a shame...

But still, this review isn't going to plead for you to update! This review is just to let you know, i think this story has to be one of the best I've read yet. I probably won't be able to look at the Characters from Death Note the same way. xD

I'm positive that in a months time (Or maybe less) I'll come back and read this story again. And again. THAT'S how much i adore this story.

I think it's safe to say that every time i think of this stoy, I'll always be wondering what happened next. But that's okay, cause my imagination will probably create an ending for me, like it always does.

Anyway, the point of this review is to tell you that i really, really, really enjoyed reading this story! I swear to the heavens above, I laughed, I cried, I smiled, and I nawwed the whole time through this story.

I finished this story and wow is it just amazing (i'm not that big of a fan of bl), but as I agree with many of your other reviewers:

Your characterization is TOO POWERFUL.

The plot is really great (though it was a bit iffy at times I still adored everything). And seriously, it's one of my favorite fanfiction stories. I spent a whole day reading this when I was supposed to be doing my homework, hehe... It's sad you won't continue this though. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY READ THE SERIES AGAIN! I first remember watching Death Note several years ago but recently came back to it due to the amazing art, plot, and just everything. I highly reccomend it, maybe you'll discover something new that you never knew before? (I definitely did lol) Anyways, it's just a suggestion. I'm truly sad that you weren't able to finish this...

Gah! Light is incredibly cold. Brutally so. Anyone who cold have sex with another person, feign affection, accept gifts, and all the while plot his "best friend's" murder, well, there's a real sociopath for you.

When I first started reading this story, I didn't plan on reviewing it because it's been so long since it was worked on and you probably don't go on this site anymore anyway. But after reading that incredible story, I just had to say something about it. It really is amazing. I can't believe you stopped working on it. And if there really were only supposed to be a couple more chapters left, you were so close to finishing it... Even though it has been two and a half years since you last updated it, I will still hope that someday you'll finish this truly breathtaking story, but even if you don't, I will still love it. Thank you for giving me the chance to read a story this great.

This is my most favorite Death Note fanfic EVER! Seriously. Personally of the many many fanfics I've read in the DN universe, this is the one that really stuck.

I actually read this for the first time back in 2007 and totally fell in love with your story and characterizations. And I come back to this fic at least twice a year to re-read. I realized that after all these years (wow it's been 5 years now!), I should stop being an ungrateful lurker and let you know how much I've enjoyed this story!

So really, thanks for putting together such a great fic!
