I was beginning to wonder if there were any good zoids combat fics out there and lo and behold I get my socks knocked off here. I can't really critique you (I am not a good writer really), so I'll just bloat your ego by telling you what a great writer you are and hope that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Continously excellent prose. This , though, "The pile of datapads on Wolff’s desk, which had started out neat and orderly with all the corners squared to one another. Now, the entire thing was piled together in such a way that it seemed it might topple at any moment." begins with a fragment which would be better served combining somehow with the sentence after.

Referring to the emperor as either "Wolff" or "Muroa" interchangably can be confusing. Perhaps pick one.

Good comparare-and-contrast between the two offices. That's a smart tactic.

Now that I think about it, this is the first Western battle story fic I've seen that actually worked with canon characters more than in passing and cared about the details of the universe beyond "it's on the boxes and they fight and stuff".

Poor neglected continuity, we will get people to love it someday.
