Ok, Rachel...first the obvious: That was absolutely squee-inducing.

I loved the realistic way you handled the way Jack & Sam's relationship progressed to marriage, their difficulty in being apart so much. The clever way you had to bring Jack to the cabin to be with her. Wow -the fact that he immediately flew in to be with her! I even loved the monster hunt in the middle.

The interaction of Jack and Mitchell was super -Jack telling him he's doing ok as leader is just what I imagine Mitchell wants to hear. The other characters as well. Just wonderfully executed.

This story exactly hit the spot I was looking for in all respects. Contemporary Sam/Jack; no melodrama or extraneous descriptions of anyone's eye colour; a reasonable explanation for their relationship that seems consistent with canon; a quick and quiet marriage; a modicum of a plot, which was also consistent with canon and was just enough to hold the story together so that you could stitch some good Sam/Jack into it; some great humor; all the characters are actually in-character; and generally good descriptions and dialog. There are a number of missing words (though none I couldn't figure out) and several places where a comma would do wonders, but neither of these prevented me from totally enjoying your story. I loved the "tell him we're out of whipped cream" comment, I totally find washing dishes soothing myself, and you made me laugh when Jack actually pulled a can of whipped cream out of his bag at the end. I'd forgotten about the comment, but of course Landry would have the guts to pass the message on and apologize. :)

An excellent story, as usual :) i always enjoy your writing, you have real talent and your story ideas a great. The interactions between the team are right on.

I loved this, Sam and Jack were so sweet and loving and yet not at all OOC.

The only thing i wasn't sure about was the conversation between Jack & Mitchell, apparantly its supposed to be a joint command, but i think most fans can see thats bull - its probably more my own problem because i hate Mitchell and most likely because i can't get over the fact that they would not return unequivical command of SG-1 to Sam. Anyway thats a reflection of my own bias rather than any failing in your writing :)

LOL loved the dawning of understanding with Vala and Mitchell too, oh and the whipped cream thing was priceless.

oh if only ! i thought the scene at the end of uninvited was great fun ( sam winning at poker ) but i have to admit your ending was great ! now if you could do a better ending for 200 i would be grateful, someone should tell TPTB that no-one is interested in an alternative sg-1 , once again great story !

Hey... i watched that episode two weeks ago, and i was impressed but its not the same being at Jacks cabin, without Jack! But you did a good spin on it, i thought it was a really good story.

I gotta admit im not too keen on Cameron, but im biased cos, i love O'Neill!

I watched the 200th episode yesterday too. It was hilarious, little sad there wasnt more SJ, going on. If you know of anymore episodes in season 10, that has Jack, in them let me know, i'd be really grateful! Comment Sam made to Hank, by the way was priceless!
