sarahsezlove chapter 5 . 10/1/2024 Brilliantly done. |
Guest chapter 6 . 11/7/2022 Oh my god I’ve never loved the Weasley’s more (Everyone except Percy of course.) |
Guest chapter 6 . 11/1/2022 You write a good stories. My son suffered from some sort of phobia regarding high-school. To this day, almost 10 years later, he won't talk about it. All I get when I bring up the subject is, 'you know!'... which I still don't and confuses me. He had to be forced to go to special school, with only a dozen students at a time and limited subjects. He seems perfectly fine now, even opening his own business, where he travels to detail cars, as well as his crappy night job. Life is odd to those of us that don't suffer from such disorders. I live in Aus. I've been bitten by many deadly spiders. Red-back, or know as black widows in the US burn like a cigarette burn. White-tails spider bites itch for months, useless you're allergic to them and cause necrosis. Deadly snakes... I've never managed to be bitten by one, but crossed them often. I think I reported my first meeting with one at age 3 in an earlier review... maybe here I think. Thank you for your imagination and uploading this to the world. |
Guest chapter 5 . 10/31/2022 My ex-wife has a frog phobia, a terrible one.(It caused us to loose valuable friends once) So did one of my aunts, lol... life. It was stupid to me, as I played with the many green-tree frogs that congregated under the outside light of my grandparents farm. It was also obvious when a snake had caught one. The cries... I've walked on, ridden over on bicycles, driven over, and had the most massive taipan I'd ever seen, guessing 7 feet long... and beautiful I'd ever seen slither past me as I sat on a creek bank, rolling a a smoke, as I sat like a statue. Way too far in the bush, had I been bitten. Half an hour, if one's lucky. My mate an I were many hours away. I've had others, that chased me in rain-forests. Whip snakes I believe. Maybe just curious, but a nasty bite too. My first memory of a snake was when I was about 3 as my older cousins were overturning slabs on the the floor, to kill mice, of the feed shed attached to the stable on the family farm. It rose up like a cobra, feet from me. I remember my cousins yelling and the snake, as well as all my other encounters. Some things you never forget. But, still no phobia of them. |
The Wizarding Horcrux chapter 6 . 8/21/2022 I admit that I was looking for something like comeuppance for those nasty Aurors, but I suppose that it didn't happen is very much spot on. It happens like that as well in real life and is just as injust and upsetting. That was the part of the story that got my blood boiling, it felt that real! I have always thought in canon that Harry was a bit too unscathed/unbothered by the terrible childhood he had. I'm sure that nobody wanted to dive into the complexities of child abuse and lasting trauma in what were meant to be children's books. But, still - this story here is a lot more true to what we told in canon. I also think that you handled it well. I'm a big fan of Arthur/Molly and I'm very happy to see them doing what I wished they could have done it canon. And, Dumbledore is particularly distasteful in this fic; it was hard to relate this cold unfeeling version of him with canon - I kept thinking, surely Dumbledore wouldn't allow this to happen. lol! This was a very good story and very thoughtful in exploring something that feels like it could have happened in canon, if the books were told differently/had a different audience. Thank you for writing and sharing! |
Alex chapter 6 . 8/6/2022 Thank you so much for this fanfiction! I've had a phobia since I was a child and never felt as if it was adequately portrayed in most stories or fanfictions. I'm glad this fic might be able to make people realize we can't just "get over it" and that it is entirely irrational. I'm mostly glad that it helps me and others realize we aren't alone and that many people suffer from phobias. Anyhow, this fic is very well written and I loved it. The Weasley family is adorable in this and I will certainly recommend it. Thank you |
Guest chapter 6 . 5/7/2022 After reading your recnac story I'm on a binge of all your writing, seriously you're amazing. Idk if you check reviews anymore but ugh I love your stories. Recnac literally made me cry so many times it's not funny. I hope you're doing well nowadays ! |
Rab100 chapter 1 . 10/26/2021 Incredibly powerful chapter. I always thought it was sad that the adults didn’t talk to Harry about the Dursleys. |
Teddy chapter 6 . 9/2/2021 :D |
Steve-Arkarian chapter 6 . 7/11/2021 Ummm, this was good, but how was that an ending? Also, I would really like to see both the trainers and Dumbledore sent to Azkaban. |
