![]() ![]() ![]() ugly crying right now |
![]() ![]() ![]() i loved the premise of the peonies and how it worked as an extended metaphor throughout the story. i thought the concept as an AU was great, although i wished for more descriptive imagery that builds the atmosphere of the story-the setting, mostly. nonetheless, i think the plot was done correctly, as if it was a true AU that could have happened in this world. really, i was pretty shocked by the end! i'm looking forward to checking out your other similar story...i'm on an AU kick and i'd love to see what else you can do. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What an infuriating story. I’m not sad; im pissed |

![]() ![]() ![]() I’ve read this story a few times . Always brings me to tears . One of my all time favourite stories . So beautifully written. Thank you |
![]() ![]() I hope Edward is in the afterlife. I understand Bella's decision to die as a human. Still I wished for a happy ending but bittersweet endings can be a bit better. |
![]() ![]() I think forgiveness is good but Bella forgives too soon. Sorry but Edward left her behind for 20 years. Not looking after her, not watching over her from a far. Not leaving anything behind that could help her focus on something else like the attempt to give her a scholarship. Zero. I find it slightly disappointing. Where is the accountability? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sad, but a good read and true to characters. Even 14 years later this story still made me sob through the whole thing. While the ending may be tragic, it is also bittersweet and appropriate that both find some semblance of peace. |
![]() ![]() ![]() THIS gutted me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Omg I’m sobbing. That was heartbreaking but so beautifully written. |
