Henri Jane chapter 11 . 10/28/2012 I think I like where this story was going, but it seems you've abandoned it. Please come back to your unfinished stories..? :) Hope everything is better now than it was when you uploaded chapter 11 (NOT A CHAPTER). |
rn chapter 11 . 7/12/2012 i really like this fic. would love to see how you planned on continuing it. best of luck with everything in life. |
snakeofdreams chapter 11 . 7/7/2012 Fav'd. Can't wait to see Snape get his comeuppance. |
Guest chapter 10 . 7/2/2012 please update soon! |
Miss Hydrangea chapter 1 . 6/21/2012 I enjoyed the latter half of this chapter (I skimmed the beginning, because I was a terrible reader and wanted to get to the part where Harry was. Sorry!) I liked your use of free indirect speech-you captured both Snape and Harry's voices very well. The way you wrote reminded me a bit of JK Rowling's style, actually, which surprised me (pleasantly). I look forward to reading the next chapter! |
ILoveHarryJamesPotter chapter 11 . 6/1/2012 Aww I hope you update sometime :( |
gategirl15747 chapter 11 . 5/15/2012 want toread more |
Rubberduck697 chapter 11 . 4/29/2012 Sooo... did anybody pick up the reigns to finish this lovely piece? Really I was just reading it because I like your writing style so I won't be devastated if you never updated. But I was certainly entertained! |
Rubberduck697 chapter 2 . 4/29/2012 OH. MY. Goodnessgracious! I've not even started on this chapter, but I realized closing my review box on the last chapter was done prematurely because there were so many many things to comment on. Hmm, let me try to remember: The description of Harry's agreeableness? Awesome. McGonagall's biggest flaw being she's soft as a marshmallow? Wonderful. Snape reading Agatha Christie mysteries disguised as potions treatises? Brilliant! I bow to you! Now... on to this chapter... I would just like to award you the best description I've ever seen for apparating :) "Apparatin', boyo, when you poof from 'ere to there by magic." Also, I love how Harry has absolutely no idea what's going on and Snape doesn't deign to enlighten him. Agh this is the best. |
Rubberduck697 chapter 1 . 4/29/2012 Hello, just started the story, but the first line was great so I had to comment, "Severus Snape was not a morning person. Nor an afternoon person, and he was certaintly not a nigt person. In fact, he was rarely any sort of person at all." It sounds kind of Dr. Seussy-but in the kindly, coy, genius sort of way. Reading on now... |
peregrin chapter 11 . 4/29/2012 Inconsistent. One moment, he is telling Dumbledore to fu** off, then he is all meek in Snape's hands. |
titpuce86 chapter 11 . 4/22/2012 It is truly a pity you stopped writing this fic because it is really amazing and I quite enjoyed reading it. I would have dearly love to see everybody's reaction to Harry's little escape and also when they realised what wass truly happening at 4 privet Drive during all these years. Would serve them right! |
A Being Of Violet Fire chapter 10 . 2/24/2012 it's been so long, but... i desperately want you to continue this story as well. you're an amazing author and i enjoy every chapter you've written. it's painful that you haven't updated in two-four years, and i'm desperate for you to continue. please please PLEASE update soon... even if it's a notice that you WILL be updating, that you aren't abandoning your stories; and i will be happy. please? -Violet Fire |
oregonbird chapter 10 . 1/1/2012 I've been reading fan fic for years; no one *ever* gives us a Harry or Snape like this! I'd hate to think that you had decided against continuing your work. I love the paranoia, which Harry has every right to - you keep it well within bounds, and leave Harry with his back constantly exposed, which would be natural in a child in such unfamiliar territory. Snape... well, wow. Nasty bastard. I know you keep ending chapters with "and he wondered if he was missing something..." which is... actually a little annoying. I'd rather he was clouted over the head without that much warning! By Harry. What a marvelous fight scene between those two... and then with time to reflect, and a few weeks locked yet again in a room, Harry loses that edge. I hate Dumbledore so much. Good writing, solid plotting, good characterization - how often do we get Nott? And Hermione is a lot more accessible than the source material; most fanfic writers use her as a walking info dump, I love seeing her used as a person. My own personal preference would be to go deeper, throw in more atmosphere, more of the surroundings, more of the day-to-day magic; but that is *not* necessary to keep me reading. Which I would love to do. Please? More? |
May-The-Wolf-Girl chapter 11 . 12/4/2011 Please keep writing, this is a really great story. |
