I love the way Dean just keeps trying and trying even when he is badly injured ... i think the guy could be chopped in half and still try if Sam was concerned lol

You just have to love the way Dean protects Sam. I can almost feel Sam’s pain! The fight with the wendigo was amazing I was holding my breath and then – thank goodness John got there just in time…oh wait…it wasn’t John it was Sam!

Dean: “You sounded just like Dad” – Sam: “No wonder you reacted so fast” Loved this!

“Lowering himself to the forest floor, he rested his head on Sam’s chest, just over his heart.”…. “And that is how he found them.” I love the way you wrote that – as I read it I was feeling the sad finality of it all and then was filled with hope that they would be saved after all!

I love the way you have them stay together – when Dean wouldn’t leave Sam alone in the cave in the first chapter

Sam: “You’ll just have to go for help and come back for me.”

Dean shook his head once, decisively. “No. No way.”

“Dean, it’s the only thing that makes sense.”

Dean’s eyes were hard, his jaw set. “I’m not leaving you, Sam.”

Sam: “You wouldn’t be leaving me… you’d be going for help.”

Dean: “No, and that’s the end of it. I’ll get us out of here,”

I just watched “Croatoa” (wow wasn't that an amazing episode?) and the way Dean wouldn’t leave Sam on his own when they thought he had to virus made me think of your story. I’ve told you before – you know our boys so well!

You know how much I just love your stories - you are the master!

Ah, ya KILLING me here. But always in a good way. Best chapter yet. I can hardly wait to see how you play the NA hunter. From now on, whenever I'm looking for Dean whump, you are the go-to-gal. Course, I knew that way back on the first story of yours I read, but this one even more.

BTW, as much as I love your original characters, I'm really digging the bro-to-bro stuff here without anyone else in the mix to dilute it ... she says in the same breath as she says she can hardly wait to see what you do with your OC NA hunter. *snerk* I never said I was consistent. :D

Seriously i think that is the best chapter yet, so emotional, so full of action, so full of heartbreak as the brothers resign themselves to the end. The flashbacks were wonderful and the whole thing was written so amazingly and with such love for the Winchesters.
