Another riveting chapter with a MacGyver reference! He was my hero growing up! No one does it like Mac! Great use of the character.

I really like the little bits of background that you are placing in the chapters - making conversations they are having relevent to their situations. It's a nice touch.

That silly bull-headed Dean. How does he think he can pull SAm all that way? I hope they can figure out how to kill him and get on their way before they both pass out from blood loss.

Dean's reply "random" to Sam's off the wall question was just perfect - I could "hear" him say that so perfectly - even see his expression. I'm going on and on about one word - but I love when the dialogue is true and this just hit me.

Another cool chapter! The sharing and caring is always fun. I love that Sam asked Dean about CAssie and he spilled his feelings about Jess and Sarah. There is never enough of that in the show for me, and you added a nice filler.

How they are going to get out of the cave without being eaten by the wendigo is a whole different story! I"ll be anxious to see them give it a try.

I'm seriously loving all the childhood flashbacks... My heart just aches for Dean, but I'm starting to see just what Sam can do for him. It's always been said Sam is his light and they are stronger together, but emotionally I just couldn't see that as true. It just seems like Sam is Dean's anchor and that could be anyone. He mostly takes from Dean's strength, not giving in return. But... Sam, if he goes just a bit further in understanding his brother, can heal some of his hurts. He can protect his sanity, can reconnect Dean to the lighter side of life. Sam can be Dean's bridge, so to speak. By vauleing Dean, Sam forces Dean to value himself for his own sake and not just because he has a duty to others... Or I'm just rambling... All I know is that I feel like I see a hint of a bit of redeming quality to Sam's relationship with his brother... Good job...

OMG... Unbelievable first chapter... It really keeps the heart jumping... One minute it's pounding with fear, the next pity.. then anxiety, then fear again! I can tell this story is going to be a very intense emotional ride... Rock on, GS!

I love the open and honest conversation between the boys. Dean has so much locked up inside him that Sam has no concept about... it's nice to see Dean open up to him a little bit.

Yet another amazing chapter! Wow! Love how you're tying in so many pieces from the show and adding new details that fit right in and SHOULD be in the show! Hurt Dean/Sammy...gotta love it!
