I loved this part in the movie, it was great that you included the false alarms here :)

Alright, here is my issue with your story. I love the dramatics, but Jareth is totally OOC. I mean I know that this is your interpretation of him, but you should at least put a warning label on this story that says, "really overly dramatic and jareth is totally out of character..." The healers must have said about 100 times how dire Sarah's condition was. Ok I get it can we please move past the fact that Sarah was gravely injured. I don't want to overly critique you(i want this to be constructive) I liked the basis of the story. Jareth always stuck me as the possesive type so it is fitting that this is called 'the possession' but again i wish he wasn't so whiny. So basically you need to show and not tell what the characters are feeling. I'm not saying that I'm a great writer, but I've been reading fanfiction long enough to know what makes a good story. But hey this story did fairly well in the reveiws department so congratulations on that. Good luck with your future writing endeavors.

You are by far one of my favorite Labyrinth authors - I absolutely love your stories, especially how you mix lore and history into them. I admit, though, my favorite part of your stories is the last chapter, especially in the later stories, when you write yourself in - it just makes it so much more real and compelling. Keep it up - I'll be following avidly!

Also, I'm insanely curious to know where you got the songs and what the melodies are. This isn't the only fic where you've included little songs or chants, and I'd love to know where you found them! Keep it up - I can't wait to read more.

The more I read of your work, the more impressed I am. The first 10 chapters or more of this story I was literally in tears. By the end I had a silly grin on my face. It takes a special writer to move someone to feel emotionally about the characters. Well done.

I really like the direction you took this tale. It shows a darker side to Jareth without making him a monster. Continue to write. You definitely have talent.

You spun such a beautiful tale that I could almost picture it. I could almost hear the words (hell I spent a good half of the time reciting them.. but shh that's our secret... or not...) I could see the decor, I could feel Sarah's pain.. it was beautiful... it was truly magical and I only wish I could have the writing ability you do.

It may seem strange to say this but I'm ver grateful to have read this. I just hope I can one day spin a tale as beautifully as you did.

OMG I F*ing LOVE this story

I love this story; I've read it several times already!

The similarities to Jane Eyre were deliberate, right? I'm going to assume they are...I always found the idea that Mr Rochester had to be maimed in order to be Jane's 'equal' ever so slightly grating. The fact that Sarah can be a perfect match for Jareth while he still maintains the same level of power is awesome; I really like the way you resolve the tension between them. It makes the power struggle Jareth creates for himself so intriguing.

I don't feel I have any right to make suggestions for such an amazing story, but my only little quibble would be with the use of inverted commas around the 'smalls'. When it's other people talking it doesn't bother me as much because they can be referring to Sarah's terminology. When the narrative is essentially her own thought, though, it kinda seems to suggest that Sarah is more conscious of using the term than she would be for a pet name.
