I'm torn between reading this and reading the new labyrinth novelisation that arrived yesterday. This is so good. I love that Sarah has some magic of her own.

You're writing continues to improve in leaps and bounds. And I don't mean that in a backhanded compliment kind of way. It was never bad, but the beginning was a bit stilted. It now flows very easily and your handle on setting a scene is quite good. I hope you still write.

There was a notable jump in quality in this chapter. You're getting better at providing details of a scene. Or maybe you're super good at it now, who knows? This was written like ten years ago.

How old is Sarah in this anyways? I'm guessing she's supposed to be post-college but she's really coming across to me as very early twenties and kind of naive?

Sarah's family is kind of annoying... Also, she should have told her work friends that she won the lottery and ran off to somewhere tropical. Then they'd just think she'd ghosted them which was a pretty simple matter before cell phones.

Huh, you'd think she'd take some photo albums with her or something.

I just wanted to leave a note saying how much I enjoyed this story. It was a pleasure to read, from start to finish, and I look forward to reading it again in the future. Thanks for a great tale!

I really like how reasonable Sarah is in this story, very refreshing. Also, unripe pb sandwiches XD

The whole few days would have had me like a deer in headlights, numb, like Sarah at the wedding, and unable to think well. It would have lasted that whole time. So I understand Sarah's reaction.

I'm guessing, and almost sure, that nothing is going to happen on the wedding night. I don't think Jareth would be cruel, even though he's said that he can be -movie insert-. I also don't think this is that kind of story.

I'm curious about the creatures of the dark. I would have to look them up I guess.

I'm also kind of happy that Elizabeth isn't being mean about everything. I'm starting to like her.

I also hope Jareth is okay by the time the wedding happens. He seemed fairly ill :(

I, one, expected things to just go as was planned out, her telling something to her parents, then leaving, or two, something going horribly wrong. The later seemed to have happened, and happened horribly for poor Jareth X)
