I knew I shouldn't have read this! I knew that I would cry.

The favorite pairing for me, would have a short-lived life together. How tragic. Reminds me a lot of Arwen and Aragon from Lord of the Rings - and the fate she would have undergone being an immortal.

Very sweet and touching. A good - but painful - read.

I've always wondered about this scenerio...considering it was bound to happen eventually.

I'm gonna sound bias because I'm such a fangirl of yours and I've only played FFXII at my friend's house. I think there's only one word that sums up this piece of art: beautiful. I like your take on Fran's long life and her relationship with Balthier.

While this isn't my favorite FF XII pairing either, I do enjoy BalxFran fics when well written, and I think you captured Fran, and the "curse" of her long life, beautifully, as well as the fundamentals behind the dynamic of their relationship, weither you consider it being platonic friendship or romantic in nature. There is the apparent contradiction between her reserve and his outspokenness, yet neither usually wears their heart on their sleeve, and there is an undeniable understanding between them that just begs to be further explored *s*

Overall it is short, but each word feels like carefully chosen, and you can just taste the melancholy behind them. I'm looking forward to more - hopefully, you'll have more ideas and time at disposal soon -

Its a really cool story, and it visualizes your style even more than what I have red from you. Unfortunately I can still pick up various typo's. Just go over the story once then it d be really good.

I really like the story. You really describe her feelings, and i felt pulled into the story, like i was there with Fran. I often wonder if there is something more to Fran and Balthier's friendship. It's a great one-shot, and good luck with your story.
