Except for the little bit of seduction on Jareth's part, everything else felt oddly heartwarming. I loved how Sarah beamed at showing Jareth the stage when it had all the special effects in play. Seeing Sarah genuinely happy at that moment put a smile to my face, and hope it did something for Jareth too :)

I'm so sorry for spamming your reviews section with my comments, and this isn't really much of a review for this chapter, more of a comforting pat on the back to tell you I also do like a "despicable" Jareth from time to time :)

If I ever saw thirst in a woman as Sarah has for Jareth, hot damn, I'd need to call the firefighters to hose her down. She literally had to chug down two (or three?) glasses of water. I'm glad she got what she reluctantly wanted though. Hearing Jareth's wish was like music to my ears. I felt like a fairy wanting to grant that wish. Thank goodness Sarah was already a step ahead. I'm used to Jareh leading kisses, so this was a nice little change :)

Your notes always inflict a little panic in my heart. I very much anticipate the seduction (don't mind the lack of action at all), but what will happen afterwards I'm kind of scared LOL Oh well, I signed up for this! No harm in a little guilty pleasure right? Oh gosh, I can't believe I'm admitting this. Anyway, I do so love that Jareth can such be a gentleman, such as the shoes scene; though I don't know if it was because he genuinely wanted to help Sarah or if that was another subtle way of enchanting her ;)

I was so happy when I read Jareth's first wish, ah that man is unpredictable. That gave me a good giggle. Ah, and I do like the circumstance you created under that one line of Sarah's "You have no power over me". That's an interesting way to interpret that statement!

Holy crap you had me cackling in this chapter. Who knew a little crystal ball of truth and Jareth's remarks would make for such a comedic duo? That was great! That last bit though... I'm a little terrified at what's in store. *checks back on the rating* okay, T for teens, that's gotta mean I'm safe... I hope...

I love this dialogue between Jareth and Sarah. You've kept Jareth very much in character, and your 24 year old Sarah is a believable one. That last bit surprised me a little. I didn't realize how close in proximity the two were until that scene ;)

Oh gosh, you were really candid about Sarah's hormones flaring up at the sight of Jareth, it even made me blush lol. I'm one for subtlety, but this doesn't deter me from continuing on to read. I like how not only did Sarah's imagination affect the Labyrinth in this story, but it even changed Jareth's appearance to her liking at the time. Alright, on to the next chapter!

PTSD doesn't need to be extreme to be real, nor does a person have to be homeless, jobless, etc to suffer from it.

Sarah's mention of flashbacks, of the taste of peaches making her sick and masks triggering a nervous response, are classic symptoms.

This chapter really got me, maybe because I'm a former / still sometime theater geek and the idea of being able to a) manage my own threadbare-but-cozy theater and b) share it with someone I lusted after and watch them be mesmerized by it is, like, a very specific and sweet daydream. Fresnels, gobos, PAR cans, endless stacks of carefully-wrapped cables, I can picture all of this so clearly. On a more general level, there's nothing more romantic than being able to gush about something you love and have someone else love listening to you gush about it, or at least stare at it with admiration. :)
