I've just discovered this today, and had to read it through - just couldn't put it down. It's a heavy, concentrated read. I love the detail, the way canon drifts in and out. Fantastic. Can't wait to read more!

I just read 17 chapters of this story. I'm not sure how I hadn't read it before, I've been planning to spend quality time on your LJ site and time just got away from me. This is an absolutely stunning story. Making Jessica the outsider POV, and making her a hunter - I was convinced that even you couldn't get me to where I found that inherently believable or even desirous, but you did. You've made this chilling, poignant, and memorable, as she begins to care for both brothers, and the characterization of all of them is beyond compare. I'm glad you are still posting something on as it certainly has jump started me to get over to LJ and see what else I missed. I am unbelievably anxious to read ch 18 though. Yowsa - what a story.

Anyway, I don't like this Dean. I like the Dean who will fight against all odds to make sure his brother is safe.

I realy don't know how Jess does it. After years of a normal life, going into a hunters life. It's hard...But i'm glad she's there 'cause she's the only one who can help Sam now...

Ah! I'm so glad you updated this-I was just thinking about it the other day. (And yes, when I saw the email in my box, I did a shrill shriek of joy.) Once again, a PHENOMENAL chapter! I had an inkling that this was the case, but that hook at the end-ooh, wasn't expecting that.

I'm absolutely adoring the building tension, the hope that Jess is clinging too and Dean's totally abandoned. And SAM...oh god I love this shattered Sam so much. The lucid, joking Sam that seems to exist in the other timeline and the broken and frightened Sam that Jess and company have to "put up with." And, as always, I am thoroughly enjoying the little bits of John sprinkled in-it's not a flattering portrait, per se, but it feels organic.

In short, I love this fic, and I love you for posting a chapter when I was about to give up hope. Love love love.

So all the complicated pieces are finally falling into place. Kudos to you for creating this fully intriguing story, AND pulling both timelines together in some sort of coherency.

There is so much to follow, but with Jessica at the helm trying to figure this out when stubborn Winchester pride is ready to pack it in, Sam may have a choice after all. It seems he's choosing the reality that WE know, but what will that mean, overall, for the Winchesters and Jess in THIS world?

OMG i did a little happy dance in my chair when I saw this was updated! It was so worth the wait! Loved every word. Oddly enough I enjoy seeing Dean give up (no one ever portrays as him giving up on his brother) and Jess is there to correct him.

Oh, man. Of course Dean is the key to convincing Sam to come back to them. I'm with Jess, I can't believe Dean is behaving like this toward Sam. It's just awful.

Great chapter, because I'm all angry and stuff. Can't wait for the next one!

Holy freakin' crap...an update...on of the best SN fanfics I've ever read...that's not even finished yet. I've been in love with this fic for ages, yep I know find a guy already but I've got one of those and I still adore this bloody fic. Jeez, I'm chuffed to bits you've updated. Although that's a gross understatement. Huge smile, ear to ear, threatening to split my face in two. That sums it up better.
