This was an excellent continuation of "Reputation". I like the way the characters interacted. It was cool to watch how the situation began and the way it developed. I enjoyed watching Iruka and Kakashi"s relationship evolve. I going to check out the other side stories now.

This story is incredible. Your writing is great, with a few minor spelling errors here and there but nothing serious. I love this story, and it's a lot more interesting than Reputation (no offense). It gives background to Reputation, and is more full and attractive in its writing style. I like the little -o-o-o-o- things. They were quite amusing. I hope to see more stories like this from you!

I can't believe you have so few reviews. You deserve many many more.
More random fill in the blanks review praise!
I _ Kakashi! But Iruka is even cooler! You _ massively and sometimes I _ and then I get all _, but then I go _ your fanfiction and I _ all _ and _ inside! Like cookies! I hope you _ yourself well and that you _ more often.
| Lunael chapter 9 . 8/27/2007
I enjoyed the fic, especially the parts where students actually backed up for Iruka. Thanks for the good read

I probably went far more into detail about your grammar last time than was probably needed for all your stories combined so I'll just go into the less technical details this time lol. First you were right, even though it was darker there was no way it was going to scare me off. If I can read D/S Naruto I can read anything without being scared :) I prefer dark angsty themes as long as there is good reason for the angst (in other words not Sasuke type angst because even though he may have reason to have angst because of the clan murder he gives into it too much and lets it rule his life. Kakashi - when he is well written anyway - has as much or more reason as Sasuke to be a complete gibbering mass but still is a shinobi functioning on a fairly high level) and the character makes an effort to deal with it instead of wallowing in it. Of course a little fluffiness to balance out the angst always works, although thinking of that makes me laugh about your lake scene where (and this isn't a criticism) the angst of it being the lake balances out the fluff... lol My favorite line period was
“Kakashi-sensei?” The silver haired man turned to see Naruto looking at him, a strange look in his eyes. “Did the fence do something bad?” Kakashi numbly looked at the fence, suddenly realizing he’d snapped three more posts, leaving only two holding up a long cross beam. He very deliberatly pulled his hand close to his chest. “It insulted my mother,” he muttered.
In fact, that may be one of the best lines in fanfic ever, and so in character :) You made a very good point about their communication and trust issues, but luckily they worked through those. Of course if they hadn't had the little conflict the only point of the story would have been a super sugary sweet PWP and this was *much* better, but I digress... lol You also write Genma and Raidou quite well, that is another favorite pairing of mine, although I have to admit it's usually a side pairing, heck everyone is a side pairing for me other than Kakashi Iruka lol. They are always my favorite; as much as I like mashed potatoes, the pot roast is the highlight of the meal after all ;) I would read a mainly Genma Raidou story but not quite as fast as a Kakashi Iruka that happened to have Genma Raidou as well lol. Iruka and Kakashi were both lucky to have them there for advice, as well as Kakashi's ANBU friends. I shouldn't but I also like how you hid what happened to Iruka while Kakashi was away on his mission; they know how Kakashi is going to react so it is justified. And yes, much more lemony goodness, especially right there at the end... drool. *That* was one of the well written scenes that makes me remember why I started reading these. All in all a very enjoyable read. You have actually made it onto my list lol. I have an mp3 player that also lets me read e-books. I have your whole Kakashi Iruka series, the whole Tolerant Intolerance universe, D/S Naruto, Broken Shinobi Universe, Side Effects Heiwa no Jutsu, The Kakashi Mission, Butterfly in Reverse, Hunter's Moon, and am in the process of adding the whole Water Runs Red/MABU universe. I guess if you are familiar with any of those it shows just exactly what I like. I re-read them while I am in the car waiting to pick the kids up from activities lol.I guess eventually I have to getaround to printing them and putting in a binder but this is more portable for now. And yes I have already read Iruka's anything and Mission from Hell and will be reviewing in the next day most likely. I am actually trying to get a little drabble (ok knowing me it will be much longer than a drabble) done about why Kakashi reads porn all the time. And oh yes, Iruka will be involved lol. Unless it's inappropriate to the story I don't see why people shouldn't add some fun for our boys into every story lol; there should be some reward for them after all the torture we and Kishimoto-san put them through on a daily basis lol. Enough rambling from me and just know I *love* the stories, even if it took me a page and a half probably to tell you that ;)

if possible, this was even better than the last one, and not just because of the happy ending (not happily ever after, but the normal happy, the 'real' happy). i loved how the history was built up, how this past of iruka's just will NOT go away and they're learning to live with the consequences of it and move forward. i really love the kids' involvement. the prison scene was fabulous, and true, and i felt tired just reading it. hooray! sad it's over, but i'm always sad when good stories end.
| alieasheart chapter 9 . 2/18/2007
A very beautiful story. I went and read Reputation after I finished it and I love them both. I just hope you can find some more to write about

I just want to say,"WOW! I FREAKIN' LOVED IT!" Yay it was sad, but it was an awesome fanfic! Actually, I showed this to all my friends, and now we all HATE Mizuki with a firey passion! We've actually given him his own torture routine, (it kinda long, and just wrong, so I'm not gonna write it down. if you want to hear it ask and you will recieve)so whenever we want to threten someone we're like, "Do you want me to go all Mizuki torture on your butt?" Gomen, I've been rambling, anywayz, I'm sad that it's over, but happy that you wrote it. Okay, not that this whole response was cheesy or anything (or weird, tis okay, i know it is), but yeah, so umm...BIYAZ!
| ChibiAliChan chapter 9 . 2/4/2007
great story... can't believe that it is already over... i really am glad that it worked out for iruka and kakashi... they really do make a great couple... and hopefully, you continue to write more about them... can't wait to read your other stories... keep up the great work... -
| ChibiAliChan chapter 2 . 2/4/2007
mizuki that bastard... how dare he do that to poor ruka... he needs something really really bad to happen to him multiple times before he dies a slow and painful death...
| warui-no-nikushimi chapter 9 . 2/3/2007
i loved this series.
they were my first kakairu fics i've ever read.
and i loved them to bits.
i'm a little disappointed that you won't be writing further on the storyline.
but now that i think of it, there's not much more you can add wiothout thinning out the plot, is there?
so i thank you again for writing these two stories.
because they were a few of the best i've read.
