Well I've found my new favorite Neon fic. And for once it's not long dead!

I can't stop laughing at the idea of anyone taking Misato at home as a role model.

The SI getting unit 03 has me wondering if she'll get an S2 engine, and also how she would attempt to derail or butterfly away Bardiel. Her interactions with Asuka were cute though.

If I woke up one morning and found myself missing some very important bits, the ensuing conniption would be legendary.

Having followed your link from the Evageeks fanfiction recommendations discussion page thing, I thought this would be much worse than it really is. The going is easy and interesting enough that I actually want to keep reading, which is a good sign.

Anyway, amazing chapter. I like the way you interspersed the time periods, it really helped keep the tension up. Lots of really interesting characterization and exploration here, too.

I have really enjoyed starting and then catching up on this fic the last couple days. I'm hungry for more, but please take all the time you need to keep making it awesome.

Not that I'd argue with an update sooner rather than later, but... eh. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. :)

I'm sorry but with just how choppy you chose to write this the angel confrontation bits were simply too long and I actually started to skim them. I think they might have been even worse if they were put together chronologically correct.

I do rather enjoy this story, but this chapter feels like you wrote the 'angel confrontation scene' ten separate times then included all of them rather than condensing to one final 'angel confrontation'.

The needs of the many do not simply outweigh the needs of the few, especially when the few do not get even get a say in their fate.

Holy God, that was all one chapter... that was a freaking ride.

Just taking a break here, with two chapters left before I'm caught up, to say that I'm really glad I decided to try reading this fic. It's an excellent story. So much more than just an SI. There are so many great observations and explorations of the canon characters, and your treatment of the issue of suddenly being stuck as a member of the opposite sex (and the consequences over time) is handled better in this fic than probably any genderflip fic I've ever read.

Like as in, there's maybe a single _Ranma_ fic out of the hundreds I've read that handles that idea anywhere close to this well. I'm genuinely impressed.

Okay, I'll bite. I've been avoiding giving this story a read for months now because I figured, statistically speaking, "I Was a Teenage Dummy Plug" was probably the only decently written EVA SI on the site. Well, suffice it to say our fandom continues to surprise me with its abnormally high number of well written fics... so I'll give this one a chance. Looking forward to getting caught up.

...Well, Nori is adapting admirably, to be sure. Handling the gender change well, too. As well as can be expected, in any case. Unasked for, unexpected. Sudden. Yeah, not the best for a person's mental condition.
Truthfully, I think it's a rather accurate representation of what a person might go through in this situation.
