| Faye Dartmouth chapter 2 . 1/5/2007 I admit, usually when I first read a fic, I do more skimming than reading-then, if it really has struck me, I go back and thoroughly devour it. This? I devoured the first time through. I spent a good 15 minutes on it, soaking up every detail and every word. I LOVE this piece. LOVE it. Hunting Sammy has clearly been done, but your take on it is truly original and the way you're setting this up is brilliant. Your descriptions are making the Limp!Sam fan in me SQUEE excessively. The details of how Sam is sprawled on the floor, the foot in his back, then the knee-and his struggling to breathe-it's just amazing. I could SEE it so clearly that it's ridiculous and the image is now forever stuck in my head. I'm completely and hopelessly addicted to this piece. I simply cannot WAIT for the next update! |

| Faye Dartmouth chapter 1 . 1/4/2007 Well that was QUITE a start...you've certainly outdone yourself here with chapter one. I'm DYING for more! Tell me you'll be posting quickly. I love the ominous image of a full roadhouse-Dean thinking maybe they're just celebrating, but our boys are not that lucky. Then that sickening revelation that they'd been waiting for THEM, that the boys had been set up. I imagine Ellen would be none too thrilled that they set her up for it too, though I do wonder what she thinks of Sam. And these guys meant business-even bringing Jo into the mix. It's a nearly impossible position for Dean-knowing that by saving his brother he could be putting someone else in harm's way. But Sam is his priority always. Great fight sequences-very vivid and real. And our boys can certainly fight-I do love that side of them. It took overwhelming odds to bring them down. That said-poor Sammy! Was that three blows to the head? At least? He is so LIMP! You KNOW what that does to me! Anyway, I LOVE this fic. LOVE it. I am totally anxious for more. So be quick with your posts :) |
