First off: disclaimer, I'd like to take the time to apoglize for the massive time gap between this review and the last one. I swear, I didn't lose interest. I was reading this story on my laptop but the wifi was being a pain in the ass, so I had to switch over to the house computer.
Okay, onto the story. Another good chapter, one which brought so many emotions so many many many thoughts buzzing inside my head but since no one has fun reading gibberish, I'll try to untangle them as bad as I can.

Okay. I have another question. Did some of the inspiration of Freedom Found in Chains come from this story? I swear to god I'm not doing this on purpose but...the Boy persona and the Demon persona reminded me too too too much of Freedom drarry. Like how when Boy got so scared and uncomfortable, Demon sprung out and went hard.

And dear god did he go hard.

So many ways he could have gone about handling the Durlseys but he tore them apart like an animal. I'm curious though. Where's Dudley? Was he part of it? Did he manage to get away?

Another Harry/Shadow outburst but I am starting to understand why it's there. Harry has been kept it the dark his whole life. Decisions about him weren't made by him but by someone else aka Dumbledore. Secrets about him were kept since people felt it wasn't the right time. So I do get why he's pissed and annoyed but I also hoping he'll calm down a bit and listen to what they have to say.

I feel bad for poor Remus since he's trying so hard.

Draco's final line reminded me of Hermione's words during the 5th movie: "We're in this together." I don't know if that was coincidental. I don't know if you planned it. All I know is that it made warmth flutter in my chest. It was like the formation of the new golden/silver/whatever they plan to call themselves trio. I seriously hope Luna is onboard with them since I love her so much

So I don't know if you read the PMs I sent you earlier or not, but after I did them. I still wasn't satisfied after I did them and got to thinking. What would a girl/sweetheart/awesome brilliant fanfic writer want on her birthday. Thought came to mind: books (like a mountain of books you can order off Amazon or Barnes & Nobles without worrying about the price, a delicious birthday cake (preferably chocolate), a buffet of pizza and Chinese takeout, relaxing and enjoying yourself, having a HP marathon which always makes the day sweeter. And then it clicked.

Reviews, reviews. A whole splash and mountains of reviews.

That was the plan...*smiles sheepishly as I rub the back of my hand* unfortunately for moi, things hardly go the way I plan, especially when it comes to reading. Thus why my fanfic and TBR library is ever-growing and barely changing. But hopefully this will count as a belated birthday, good-wishes package.

Okay, now that I got my two cents-or 50 considering how much I blabbed-across, now I can get to the story reviewing.

*claps my hands* Okay, I believe I mentioned this in previous review from...way, way way back but it's always odd to me when stories have Harry change his appearance. I know it has to do with protection, such as this scenario. Sometimes because Harry just wants change. I get it, but it's always hard for me to digest. Daniel Radcliffe is perfection, beautiful and precious cinnamon-rollish perfection who is drop-dead gorgeous, so the idea of his appearance changing is hard for me to picture. Two, it's honestly hard for me to picture Harry not with the messy black hair, his short height which to me means more to his adorableness, and his classic bright green eyes.

Question. I know Harry's appearance changed since he did take on most of Snape's bloodline/genes but why change the eyes? Those are like his classic feature. The usually, bright bright bright green eyes that he inherited from his mother.

I love the bonding moments between Draco and Harry. I won't lie. I'm still trying to process the fact that the relationship here is completely different from Freedom and there will have to be more progress and development before we see them approach any magical romantic steps but I'm still loving the relationship here. I also love the relationship between Harry and Snape. I won't lie. Any story that has drarry friendship turning into a passionate romance, with Snape acting as a good mentor and father-figure is like an automatic sold for me.

Hence why you are among my top 3 favorite drarry writers ever ;)\

I do have a question though concerning his late wife, Amy. So he got together with her shortly after Halloween night and he turned to Dumbledore's spy, which made me think of Lily. Does he still love her? Did it change to a more platonic thing?

Also Harry's outbursts...I won't lie. And please please please don't take this the wrong way since I adore you but...the outbursts seemed a bit random to me. Like, I don't know, Neville comes in, he's a bit freaked out by Harry's new looks (can't blame the dude), and then he mentions why the different colored eyes freak him out, but then it quickly went from 0 to 100 real quick. I'm still trying to process that. However I do get why thanks to those stupid Dursleys why he's very insecure about his looks.

I know you've already finished the story and I'm just reading it but I figured I'd do the mini poll anyway so I'm going to say C

I'm really happy for you. You've worked hard on this and done your research throughily about DID otherwise known as MPD...it's actually the other way around, lol I'm just not going back to correct it. I've read the Road not Taken under a different username and loved it.

I just realized something. It's odd. I'm pretty sure it's borderline random, crossing airhead territory but i figure why not?

The best way to get through a massive library of drarry fanfics is having a selected few opened on phone ans a selected few on iPad. Case and point: While waiting wait for my friends to wrap up their paintings, I open google chrome to my phone and low and behold, the story i've been meaning to read is there.

Okay, that's my shared thought. Now onto the review.

Second chapter just as good as the first one. Though I'm still processing the fact this story is entirely different from Freedom (loved loved loved the updates BTW; thought i mention) and have to remind myself of that, I'M SO SO SO happy and pleased we already have drarry friendship coming out so early in the story.

I will not lie. I was sad/ a bit peeved Harry's appearance changed. Don't get me wrong, i love the fact Severus blood-adopted him. And i know it's all for the name of protection BUT i love Harry the way he is. Both inside and out. It's hard to picture him any other way.

That was the one snip for me. I loved everything else though

I really enjoyed this. I think it would have been better if Hermione would have died. Ironic that it would be protecting Draco... I just can't see Ron being that unselfish. Plus knowing an obscure charm.
The battle was ok but not very long or action packed. I was expecting something bigger after Draco talked about the castle going on the offensive.
The beginning was nice. It really drew you in. By the middle things were getting a bit stagnant and drawn out. I also felt like there were random elements that kept being introduced that weren't pertinent to the story. Even some bits that ended up coming back into play later still left me scratching me head. For example why have Shadow transform into a half werewolf half dove Dark creature that is apparently semi-sentient (yet that improves over time), travels using shadows, can heal people, uses "Black" magic, and rescues kids from abusive homes. He's the Anti-Hero. I put Black in quotes because for the longest time I thought you meant Black magic as in the Black Family Magic. It was capitalized. It isn't usually when written.

I was very sorry to hear that Draco is now a vampire. No wonder his tail on his peacock was so huge! He's immortal! At least now the Emo look will match. Hopefully Hermione will go back to Victor now. And not grieve over Harry too much. I'm glad Ginny's eyes were opened. Although I hate it had to be this way.

Snape is seriously getting on my nerves. Maybe Salazar should have a look around in his mind. Maybe he's got a brain tumor or something since he's acting so crazy.

I don't see Neville happy with Ginny long term.

Severus is even going to insult the ones he came to for help with his son? Good grief.

I don't understand why Severus hates Neville so. Neville has saved Shadow several times over the years and they are very close. Why hate the boy your son thinks of as a brother?
Also it didn't seem to be a wise choice to me to make an enemy of Madam Longbottom. Shadow has just shown up at her home twice now. She has indulged Neville's silence but a crazed friend tearing up your home and threatening your grandchild is a bit much! I'd want to know what the Hell was going on too! Why antagonize her? Make up something I tell her, be gracious for her help, apologize for the inconvenience and offer a recompense for keeping it quiet.

Uh, why don't they just lock the fricken door! Severus could lock his parlor door so Harry couldn't leave before he was done with therapy. He couldn't have done that to lock Shadow in the house? Seriously?

It seems like Shadow is overreacting here. He can't expect to be treated as an adult and even adults take the advice of others that are more trained in areas that they need help in. I hope he does not keep expecting people to be perfect and never fail him. That's unrealistic.

Not bad I suposse, but it put as if everyone except the hero is a little stupid or crazy. I mean, most students have parents in one side or another... If the death eater kids tell that Carrow plan to take over Voldemort, that problem could not be. And if those with people in the Wizenmagot like Neville comment about what happen (Yes, the blood quill curse make you unable to tell others, but others that are not affected by the curse could tell, or could find a way to break the curse) Umbridge could been sacked. Not to say they waited too much to take her.
