| lin12344 chapter 14 . 3/10/2011
I hated that you ended this very good story and wished that House and Cuddy would have went futher in their relationship since he told her about the abuse. She would have help him deal with his past or just listen to him talk and get in out in the open.
| J Lesley chapter 14 . 8/15/2007
Again, I really loved this story, although the ending was a bit sad. Again, beautifully written and very detailed, which I appreciate immensely.
I agree, Half-Wit was one of my favorite episodes of season 3, too.
| Nyxelestia chapter 4 . 4/4/2007
Hi, i read 'no exit' and loved that story and now i am reading this one, but why do you keep calling Cuddy 'Voldemort'? or is it someone else? I am going to be honest and say I'm not that good on reading between the lines. that and normally i read so many harry potter fanfics so i get a littl twisted.
ah, well, love the fic. :D

This waiting in between episodes is killing me! But on a happy note, your stories have helped me make the time go faster.
| chickleta chapter 14 . 3/12/2007
Oh. Oh, my God. No no no! I don't want it to end, and I don't want House to be a jerk! *cries*
This was really, really good though. I loved the whole thing, and I can't wait for you to start your next fic... please hurry!

I love the references in this chapter to ODOR, I love that episode!
| Magdala chapter 14 . 3/12/2007
In the end House was absolutely House, pushing away the possibility of love for the predictability of solitude. After the brilliance of Half Wit any other resolution would have lacked veracity. Thank you for the truthfulness and clarity of your writing. Thank you for not ever being sucked into mawkish romanticism.
Fanfiction is littered with lusty, agonised and wayward 'darlings'. 'Transistions' was written with great restraint and style, no 'darlings' remained to waste our time or sabotage characterisation. It takes a lot of hard work and self control to write something that is easy to read, with accurate characterisation and consistant elegance. Barbara Barnett didn't stumble into any traps and no 'darlings' were released for publication.
This is invaluable advice on 'darlings' for all writers: "Style, for example, is not—can never be—extraneous Ornament ... 'Whenever you feel an impulse to perpetrate a piece of exceptionally fine writing, obey it—whole-heartedly—and delete it before sending your manuscript to press. Murder your darlings.’" Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch (1863–1944). On the Art of Writing. 1916. (Incorrectly attributed to William Faulkner who much later said, "kill all your darlings.")

| tanzfieber chapter 14 . 3/12/2007
That, my dear, was stellar. Thank you for being realistic, for caring about keeping up with the active plot in the show, and just in general for sharing this piece with us. You're wonderful, and I cannot wait for the next installment.
| 420PeaceFrogs chapter 14 . 3/12/2007
But but but but...I wanted House and Cuddy to get together. He totally loves her and the whole Cameron kissing thing...I mean if someone that actractive is going to kiss you you are going to kiss back. :(
Keep up the good work regardless! :)
