Great story!

Hey! I really liked this story. I thought it was well written and it just kept me glued to the page (or screen of this computer) for the whole story! I like your other stories too. Keep it up!

I love this fic centred on how the Atlantis team have become Rodney's family. When he thinks that Rod might just slip into his place he asks him to look after them. They all pull together in turn to find him, to rescue him, do what it takes to get him recovering and surround both him and Jeanie until he's better. I also like that they've effectively adopted Jeannie as well.

The final touch I liked was that Jeannie doesn't send the scared night time emails but instead writes upbeat invites for him and his "family" to come visit her and her family.

Great story, rodney is the man, nice to see how he considers family values. You do not have to be blood to have a family. Thank you

Very nicely done story. I read it for the SG Fan Awards. I'm so glad that this was nominated, since the noms are usually good stuff that I missed when they were first posted. Anyway, wonderfully told tale from Jeannie's POV, which is a great way to frame the tense, angsty plot. All-around gem. Thanks for posting it.

Could you write a follow up story for this? maybe one when the whole team visits and stuff Plz! Awesome Story btw!

Lovely, lovely fic. Weird too, because I just finished watching 'McKay and Mrs Miller' with a friend and clicked on to find this! Which is a lovely surprise to read on a Sunday afternoon, when it's snowing inside and warm inside. I love Jeannie's relationship with her brother, the way you've expanded that to include his 'family', and the way you explore the edge McKay walks - Rod demonstrating that. Thank you for posting this.

I liked it. It did show how thin a line there is between genius and insanity. Sad about Rod but it was inevitable. Liked how Jeannie climbed in to Rodney's bed with him. Is there a sequel in the works? Rodney's reply to her email? Do they go for Easter and meet Maddie? So many questions. Good story.
