This is sooo good. Heartbreaking. Megavolt is my favorite character and you wrote him so well. Plus I love it when there's some bigger cause and the bad guys have to team up with the good guys. I think this is the best Darkwing fanfic I've ever read.

Okay this fic had some golden moments but that last scene blew it out of the park. DW threathening Steelbeak and the dramatic reveal that Negaduck is behind the curtain? Priceless

Okay. I have gone, taken a break, and breathed for a little bit. Now, instead of bawling you out for being so terrible to Megs, I'm going to thank you for an epic work of storytelling. I'm a lighthearted happy person every day of the week, but I've gotta admit that you're probably right on this one. Happier endings COULD have happened, but this one rings especially true and it fits.
As for the rest of the story, you did a fabulous job of continuously introducing and altering conflicts. I didn't begin a chapter without worrying about or anticipating something and I didn't end a single chapter without redirecting my focus and anxiety as the result of your skillful writing.
You worked in far more characters that I could ever hope to handle at once (if you'd mentioned them in the description, I probably wouldn't have even given the story a chance because I would have assumed it'd be too busy for any character development to happen). For all that, I don't think you left a single character out. All of them have strong motivations and deep emotional ties (to each other and to me). In fact, you are the only person who could ever have made me genuinely LIKE Negaduck. So congratulations on a job superbly done and thank you for sticking it out and for sharing it with me. I really appreciate it.

Great writing! This is better than a lot of the real episodes, yet it stays true to the Disney characters! Keep them comin'!

Well, after reading this story (and its prequel just right before reading this one). Let me sum up my thoughts in one word:

BRILLIANT!

I'm totally blown away at just how much thought you put into these stories and how easily they fit into the world of Darkwing Duck! Like the way you came up with Drake and Elmo's backstory and how they ended up being like what they are today. Having both the Justice Ducks AND The Fearsome Five team up like that to take down FOWL. Hell, i'm equally amazed at how well you tied Ducktales in there too! Brilliant, I say! Just brilliant! (I also totally love Negaduck here, he is one of my all-time-fav villains afteral, and you get extra points for just that alone.)

Now theres some fanfics i've read where I belive their stories deserve to be animated/turned into comic/live-action/etc. in some way, this is certainly one of them!

Now as for the quality of the writing itselef. In the first story (the prequel, "Dynamic Duo"), you made lots of gammercal errors. Not just with typos, but with the way you layed out sentences as well. Theres even some parts I think should have been written a bit differently that would sound better, but thats just me. Usually stories with that many errors I usually turn away from, but what kept me going as the amazing thought you put into it.

Now for this story, I did see some improvement in the beginning from the first one, but not much. As this story progressed, so did the writing quality, and in the end, I saw the definate improvement from when these stories started out. You get a kudos for that.

Now I know over time people can improve their writing, because I will admit i'm one such person myselef. When I started writing fanfics, the pacing in my stories was quick, so it created a very rushed feel. Now I have learned to take my time, not to rush things and add addtional detail, because I think it creates a better feel in the story overal (but once again, thats my own opinion). I also remember back when I was still an active fanfic reader, I noticed there was some writers who had been on the site for years but never really improved at all. They kept writing poor quality fanfics the whole time.

Anyways, my whole point is kudos to you for learning how to improve your writing! You deserve a special applause just for that! *claps*

Alright I think i've said enough. Now will all of that said, keep up the great work and I am definately looking forward to more from you! There is still room for some improvement in the writing quality (myselef included in my own work) , but not to worry, with the way your headed you are definately on the right track. (You already have the great ideas to make a great story afteral.) Just keep at it and don't give up!

It's Okay...Now to set things straight to tell the truth in all in honesty thus is one of the best Darkwing Duck fics I read. It so beautiful and full of emotion and (call me cry baby but) some parts made me cry...But I really loved it you really kept the characters personality's it really fitted everything. You're are one great writer...I loved it...

I've wished this would've happened in the show.

I enjoyed how Megavolt regained his memory; and that Darkwing discovered the hard way that one of his worst enemies happened to be his best friend.

I also enjoyed the subplot of Gizmoduck "being the badguy". It makes you realize how lucky we far for him to be such a boy's scout, and not use his powers for evil *shudder*.

Great Story I would have liked a happier ending though. Anyhwo, It was great I guess it just goes to show you Theresa little good in even the most ruthless of villans. Well Except for maybe Stillbeak. By the way what happend between him and Negaduck in that hospital room.

Sorry it took so long to review, but I haven't had much time for reading fanfiction lately...anyways, nice work! I still prefer "Dynamic Duo", but then I'm the sort of person whose favorite Harry Potter book is "The Philosopher's Stone", so there you go. (I'll read dark, angsty stuff, but it's the nice light fluff I like best...) I'm afraid it's a little redundant having all the villains as interchangeably good/evil except for Steelbeak—he's no more "pure evil" than the rest of them, he's just in it for the money and power he gets from F.O.W.L. As well, this story was also dialogue-heavy, to the point where I'd sometimes have to scroll further up the page to figure out which lines were said by who; this was especially irritating in the Drake/Honker exchange in chapter 8, and overall it would have served the story a lot better to break up the long dialogues with descriptive sentences. The ending also depressed me—I really wanted Megavolt and Darkwing to become friends again—but then it was supposed to be a bit of a depressing ending on that point, so I guess it's not a bad thing after all. (You do realize that this ending screams "SEQUEL", don't you? ,) I think my favorite parts of this, though, were the exchanges between Megavolt and Gosalyn, from when he saves her from the bullies to when he's with her in the hospital.

Overall, very nice job, and I'll try and read some more of your work next chance I get!

I love Nega Ducks little note, just simply brilliant.

But the end is sad. Boehoe. I think Drake-Elmo their story is so sad. I really regret that they can't just be friends even when they fight on opposite sides.
