I’m gonna scream this time stuff is so confusing. But Cain’s origin story was really cool.

The story is good, but since it has the copied lyrics of the season 2 ending theme of "Magic Knight Rayearth", it breaks the following part of the Content Guidelines:

Please remove all of the copied lyrics from your story because the owners of this site have no legal permission from the songwriters.

And in case you're wondering when and why that rule is made, here is the background information. Back on April 27, 2005, the admins put this message on the front page regarding songfics:

Keep in mind that "public domain" means something that has expired copyrights, like Shakespearean works. And disclaimers don't cut it for song lyrics. Not even changing a few words from the original song will be enough.

Shaklator is a horny meathead, Ganondorf is wonderful as always, and the new Cain is a fascinating character. Excellent work, as usual.

I wonder who will die in the end. Some heavy foreshadowing here with link's subtle physical decline, ganondorf's not so subtle apparent sacrifice and declaration that darius/shak/patrick can't be allowed to die, and silviana's new reclamation project. Someone's gonna bite it. Ganondorf would be the easy and obvious choice, but somehow I feel that there's more to it than what's been stated already.

A few typos, nothing major. Can't wait to see what happens next!
This was a fight scene that I could see happening in my mind's eye, move for move. Best one yet!

An update is a good way to end off 2018. I also like the more calm and "IDGAF" side of Cain that's portrayed in this story, compared to how he was in TSK.

And Link’s body is starting to catch up with him...
So we finally get to learn a little about Patrick’s past. That stuff is horrible, now I know why he is the way he is. But it’s nice to see Silviana trying to relate to him.
That scene between Ganondorf and Shaklator was really interesting. “Real women who aren’t afraid of being women...”
I’ll be interested to see if Cain #2 joins them. They might actually have a shot then.

Good to see you posting again. I was shocked when I looked back at this story to maybe reread it yet again to find you'd actually posted additional chapters. Your ability to keep this story going interesting places even after seemingly tying up every loose end if the first part of the story. Cain not withstanding. I always thought he felt like kind of an afterthought in the narrative, but I guess now I can see why. Not sure how I feel about more time travel shenanigans, those are always hard to write well. But you seem to be handling it so far. Keep up the good work!

Cain was not always the dark creature of vengeance that Link knew him as.
Midna and the Twili may get to go home, or they could lose it all...
