![]() ![]() ![]() Took me a second to get that unintentional innuendo. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say I really enjoy how in your stories Neville plays a more prominent role. I really think he and Harry would be great friends/allies and I think you do a nice job of forming those roles between them :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story! Loved how he and Petunia came to an understanding. Thanks so much |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know I've read your story before, because I've reviewed some of the chapters. (Please don't be insulted that I don't remember; I read HP fanfic every day, so it's easy to forget them or get confused.) I really like that you are humanizing Aunt Petunia. Her answer to Tonks's question - while Harry balked at it - made her behavior toward Harry more sympathetic. It should also help Harry realize that it is the fear of magicals and what they might do to Harry as well as the family - rather than Harry himself - that has caused her to withhold her love. That should help him to understand that he is not unloveable, as he has sometimes thought. Mr. Mann certainly came into Harry's life at the perfect time. He seems to be helping Harry deal with the loss of Sirius by doing a lot of the things Sirius probably would have done, had he been free to do so. I hope he survives the war, because that relationship and his guidance in Harry's life could be good for both of them in the future. That reminds me ... I wonder if his cursebreaker son knew Bill. Hm. I like the fact that Harry is taking the initiative to live his own life and make some decisions for himself. It is interesting to see that he behaves more responsibly and more intelligently when he has contact and interaction with other people rather than being "imprisoned" as he usually is. I think he will surprise Dumbledore in the fall. I love that you are giving Andi a role in Harry's life. She is so intelligent and seems like someone who could have been a hugely positive influence in Harry's life as he grew up. Ted, too, would have been a wonderful "liaison" between the Wizards and the Dursleys, as both he and Andi are able to move seamlessly between the magical and non magical worlds. Had Dumbledore been more concerned with the happiness and well-being of BOTH Harry and the Dursleys, he would have tapped the Tonkses as potential friends and mentors. Instead, he used Harry and the Dursleys as chess pieces in his personal games. IMHO, Dumbledore has a lot for which to answer. He has ruined a lot of lives with his games. I really don't like him very much. I enjoyed the Creeveys. I wonder who their relatives will turn out to have been. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very much enjoyed. Thanx. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm a tad sad that this concluded. It's very well written in it's sentence structure, aesthetics, and the use of language - as are your other stories. I do hope there is a sequel. :) |
