I hope that at some point you come back to this, I really have enjoyed the slow build up of friendship and plot for this. And I love the lengthy chapters.

I tried to prolong this chapter as much as I could, but alas it has come to an end. I love your thought processes with Rude, explaining why he's quiet, what he's thinking. It really makes him into a more in depth person. I hope that even if you're no longer interested in Final Fantasy (as horrifying as that thought is) that you've kept writing. It's been interesting watching how your work developed. You always had the substance: your technique just took a little bit to smooth out. I'm glad I found your story, even if I'm going to keep checking back to see if you updated.

Your story is great so far, but I must say when you switch to Reno's first person point of view I was so confused. I actually thought you had accidentally pasted something from another story and skimmed for a while to see where Rude's story came in. Maybe a page break could help?

Re-reading, because I still love this story! The interactions are awesome! Has it been abandoned or are you too busy? Anyway, still hoping it'll be continued!

Man. Well it seems Rude and Reno have taken a couple small steps towards their canon dynamic, but I can't wait til they take am uch bigger step. The whole "stay away from him" stuff is really mysterious. o-o So curious about that. I can see how being on Reno (and Rufus's, for that matter) good side can be a bad idea for people, but still...Oh that reminds me - I'm also curious how you explain how Rude, Reno, and Tseng got to be so loyal to Rufus. What does Rufus do to earn enough loyalty in his Turks that after the game they stick around for years and worry about him?

Generally I have lots of questions about what will happen, but I'll be patient and simply read. :3

Reno's going to kill one of them. Maybe that Doug guy. I think the reason the higher-ups talk so bad about him is because he wasn't lying with what he told them. "if you set anything off all of us are screwed and if you make it out I will kill you." I think he really would. There's gotta be a reason why they talk so bad about him. Especially, after he told Rude, "Can't afford any more casualties in close association with me so just promise me you won't be stupid." Maybe I'm just reading too hard between the lines here, but there has to be reason so many bad rumors are going around about him.
