I first read this story as a freshman in high school in 2009 and it’s 2024 I’m 31 now and this is still one of my favorite fan fictions. I’m so glad that’s it’s still available online to read. I have never gotten over how well you wrote the longing and desire to be with someone while have trepidations. I love how the characters fears were expressed in different ways. I love how they fought through those fears to be together. I hope

It’s a little late coming, but I’ve finally gotten around to reading this fic I first saw back in 2010. I love the set up: the friend group is great, and Roxas knows something is missing but not until he sets eyes on him. Didn’t even go up and talk, either - rationality caught up, which is so unfortunate, ha. Still, I did love the earlier moments when I realized it was Larxene and Demyx. I wonder who Demyx is waiting for…I must admit, I laughed when I had the thought that it might be Zexion. But that’s neither here nor there.

Thought you should know that after like 15 years, this fic is still cemented in my head as THE AkuRoku next-life fic. It is the BLUEPRINT.
I love the yearning, I love the intrusive memories and them not talking about it, I love the teasing from friends and how everyone slots neatly into this reincarnation world.
Gonna go re-read Over at the Frankenstein Place, and actually catch up on Burning Bridges soon, because I fucking loved that one too. You were, and are, a freaking awesome writer. :)

I’ve read this story before, but every time I reread it I remember how much I love it all over again. This is exactly what I needed after the heartbreak these characters went through in KH2, and it makes me so glad to see them reach their happy endings. It’s a lovely story!

I've been binging AkuRoku fics for the past week or so, and I devoured this lovely work of fanfiction in the span of one day... this is definitely one of my favorites. I liked the way you tied in the canon with the AU, and I appreciated the balance of dark and light- the darkness of their "dreams" and their past, their anxiety and fears, tempered with the utter sweetness of the pairings' relationships and the hopeful, contentedly satisfying ending. Oh, and just the right amount of smut scattered in between to satisfy my AkuRoku yaoi cravings, haha... It especially tickled me when Roxas got his turn to top; I don't think I've ever read a fic in which Roxas topped before! xD

Anyhoo, I digress. Thank you for this delightful fic. I know this story has been completed for over a decade now, but I thought you might still enjoy reviews from late-comers. -

Welp, after 3 days I have finished this fic. It was really a pleasure. You did a beautiful job creating the next life for these characters. I loved the slow motion car crash dialogue in the second to last chapter. I think you did a great job staying true to the characters as well. Overall a very very good job, I’ve really enjoyed my time reading this fic. I hope you still get some happiness and pride from these reviews, even years later. You have a beautiful talent to create worlds with your words, be proud.
