So much to comment on. Heh. I love the sorting-hat; especially the whole scene with Ms. Bell. The comment about the banana-split was great. Harry/James getting his modified animal form, "more of the same but different". Just an awesome chapter over all.

Harry's a better man than I would be. I couldn't handle having my father's memories in my head.

I really like your person usage in different stories. Don't see too many authors using much in the way of 1st or 2nd person in their stories.

I gotta say, up until these last couple chapters this story was really interesting. I had thought that he would get over the whole mental age vs physical age thing since he made out with a 12/13 year old Ginny and a 14/15 year old Katie, respectively but clearly he still has some issues. If he didn't want to have anything to do with Katie or Ginny, he should have just rebuffed their advances as politely as possible. The entire situation revolving around these 'romances' is ridiculous and extremely forced.

Also, the whole 'prank' he pulled by making out with Angelina and Alicia was funny but unfortunately he never owned up to it! The twins would have seen it in a much better light when they realized that their plan to charm the bottle had been turned around on them and COULD have laughed it off. Unfortunately, our MC is an idiot and decided to let the entire Weasley clan simmer in anger with no forthcoming explanation to his actions.

On top of that, when everything starts spiralling downhill for him he doesn't even stand up for himself! What is the point of being a talented duelist and having all these 'skills' if he won't even stand up for himself? He just got bitched out in front of his whole house and basically the entire school for standing up Katie and throwing Ginny off on Corner and he didn't even say a single word in his own defense! Telling them he went with Neville to see his parents to be there for his friend/brother would have at least made Katie and the others understand his actions a bit better! I am a big fan of Katie Bell and feel that he at least needs to give her an explanation for his actions! THe poor girl probably feels horrible! How is that being mature?! Now he just looks like an unrepentent asshole!

Clearly HJ has some major psychological issues if he thinks this is being 'mature'. Being 'mature' doesn't mean only dating people that are your own age. HJ clearly has some problems sorting out his own emotions and feelings. Avoiding your feelings isn't being mature, it is just dumb. Avoiding conversations with teenagers because you are an 'adult' isn't mature, it is plain stupid. James Potter was only 21 when he died. There should not be such a large disconnect between his mental age and his peers. Just because they haven't been through a war doesn't mean that a 15-17 year old person cannot be mature.

This entire scenario where the whole school turns against him over a ditched date and dismissing a pre-teen crush is also ridiculous. This isn't how real people react and frankly it makes this entire situation feel extremely forced. Clearly the author is trying to isolate HJ so that he can hit it off with Fleur but this is just too forced to feel natural. I know it is a bit late for this review to do any good but I just had to get this off my chest after all this frustration.

Another thing that I thought was overdone was the fucked up marriage with Lily. It would have been much more natural for a person in his situation to avoid ALL female contact for a while due to his former love of Lily. Unfortunately, author shat on that by making her cheat on James with REMUS LUPIN of all fucking people. I HATE Remus Lupin with a passion. He is a lazy, good-for-nothing slob that has no place even flirting with people like Lily OR Tonks. But instead of making the more realistic choice of him not seeking female company due to his love of his former wife, author decided to make him an idiot who drones on about not being able to date an 'adult' even though he was only 21 when he died.

I don't particularly like Lily OR Remus but I definitely think the whole situation could have been handled better. Avoiding other girls due to his former love would have made the story flow much better and made HJ seem much more mature than...whatever this shit is.

Great story. I am sorry the sequel was never written but I am going to imagine a happy ending foe Harry and Fleur and all the other main characters. Thank you again for sharing your well written and original story of the GoF.

Most interesting tournament ever. You had the most interesting sorting hat ever. His insults were literally the best I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I wish I had written them down to use on other people. Loved the store. Fluer and Harry was excellent as well. Love the whole thing. About to search for your sequel if you ever wrote it.

You're technically correct, of course, but you've written a damn good story and I'd love to know how it ends.
