Reviews for Stronger Than Hope
Bielaszewska chapter 23 . 9/2
That was amazing. Just…Wow. The tension, the careful, detailed thought well paced description of all the preparations, intertwined with the ‘wishes’. Goosebumps has hit not only the Git.

One of my favorite stories! I’ve reread your excellent story so many times. You kept Snape so true to the written character and left his brilliant intellect shine through. I was amazed at how detailed and thorough you were with character development. I just finished it again and I’ll probably read it again soon. Thank you!
fionarooo chapter 50 . 7/8
I LOVE THIS FIC SO SO SO SO MUCH GIRLLLLLLLLLLLL
fionarooo chapter 8 . 7/6
I don't usually do this, but this is such a unique fic. I love it. It stands out from all of the other Mentor!Snape fics I've read, and it's so incredibly well written. Thank you for this.
Sellios chapter 30 . 7/3
Yea I think I'm gonna stop right here. I'll explain.

First, I'd like to give credit when credit is due. The story-telling was really good. in the first arc of the story, Harry made a brilliant plan, albeit with questionable intent, and almost succeeded. The psychological trauma he experienced from prior events is indeed severe, and his action was actually justifiable. The author did a great job showcasing the tension and emotions.

The problem started in the first arc, but it mainly manifested in the second part where Harry stays with Snape after his suicide attempt. Canon Snape's character was probably best described as a sadistic bully. He totally deserved to be called a git, but there are lines he never crossed, lines that are not meant to be crossed, which is why Canon Snape was my fav character and somewhat redeemable in my heart. That is not the case here.

This Snape started showing his control-freak tendencies when he first discovered Harry's new-founded talent in Occulmency. It quickly developed into an unhealthy obsession of breaking Harry's mental stability. One could argue that he succeeded in his attempt to dissuade Harry from his suicidal thought, but in reality what he did to Harry was worse than death. It is crystal clear that Harry already had Stockholm Syndrome by Chapter 30. It would only gets worse from here. I had a quick glance over the last chapter (Ch.50), and it pretty much confirmed my suspicion.

And let me be CLEAR. If anyone think Snape's behaviour in this fic is in any way, shape, or form acceptable, I'd suggest you talk to a therapist before becoming a sociopath, and please for the love of God, stay away from children.
Sellios chapter 25 . 7/3
If Snape doesn't change from the control freak that he had been so far in the next few chapter, I might actually stop reading.
Sellios chapter 14 . 7/3
They do realize this strong urge to control another human being's behaviour so completely is not healthy, even bordering mental, right?
Sellios chapter 12 . 7/3
I always prefer a competent Harry than essentially a helpless pawn who walked the path other draw for him. So far, this story is more of a psychological thriller, and the cat and mouse moments are very well written. I look forward to how this story unfold, and I genuinely hope Harry doesn't give in too easily :)
Guest chapter 20 . 6/23
I’m so proud of Hermione
She stuck by Harry and helped him a lot, she is so smart
Can’t wait to see Dumbledore give Snape his comeuppance
I know in this fic Snape and Harry are friends at the end but I prefer their dynamic as enemies far better
Guest chapter 19 . 6/23
The ending is funny to think of
Guest chapter 18 . 6/23
The fight with Ron and Hermione was so cool
Guest chapter 10 . 6/23
I feel bad for Ron and Hermione
They like and help Harry so much, but he is lying to and manipulating them, has become more malicious And wicked, and is gonna die soon
But killer manipulation of Snape like always, he wants to think he’s clever which is how you get him. Book Snape wishes he could be as cool and composed as Movie Snape
It’s making me smirk to think of Snape seeing an article about Sirius’s innocence in the daily prophet; he’ll be so mad hahaha
Nice scene with Dumbledore
Guest chapter 9 . 6/23
Oh my goodness what an amazing cliffhanger
I’m in eager anticipation
Harry deceived everyone so well and Is so coming and manipulative, I Admire it, reminds me of Machiavelli
Guest chapter 8 . 6/23
“ the thought of his being able to cast a Memory Charm that could affect Severus was as laughable as that of his being an autodidact in Occlumency. Everything noticeable or unusual about the boy, such as his talent with Parseltongue, came from his enemy.”

What a great line, so unintentionally, hilariously ironic of Snape
Guest chapter 6 . 6/23
This fic is so darkly immersive
Great job author
I like it so ooooo much
