Nemo Blank chapter 1 . 5/27/2018
How would the prime directive apply to humans at all, especially in space?
Axcel chapter 15 . 2/12/2018
Oh, and soft people don't let planets die because of some law they could easily break without anyone knowing to save that world. Starfleet does.
Axcel chapter 15 . 2/12/2018
Someone should remind the Colonials that if an alien Federation had come to Earth during the days of primitive man and chose to prevent civilizations from being destroyed, the Colonials' culture and civilization would never have existed at all. That should give them something to chew on and put things in a good perspective for them. Just because a civilization was destroyed doesn't mean it is the end of the world or something. It is a disappointing shame and bad but much more grows from it. Certainly better than stagnation as a species.
Axcel chapter 14 . 2/12/2018
Heh, "soft". Worf would disagree.
Axcel chapter 12 . 2/12/2018
There is nothing stopping them from maintaining their own culture on Earth, either. They’re just arrogant and egotistical. Even that attitude blowing them up via Cylon has not corrected it.
Axcel chapter 12 . 2/12/2018
Nothing has ever indicate that most humans in the Federation, even only on Earth, are atheist. In fact, since the original series was made in a time in which “atheist” was basically a swear word, I doubt canon humans are mostly atheist. For certain, most humans currently are religious to varying degrees.

I doubt see why Adama thought that culture clash might prevent them from settling on Earth. If the Colonials make a big deal out of it then they do not deserve to settle there.
Axcel chapter 5 . 2/11/2018
The person complaining that the Federation tech is the one who would be most eager to use it against them. Yet, she doesn't realize why the Federation doesn't share it's tech despite herself being a living, textbook example of why.
Axcel chapter 4 . 2/11/2018
I wouldn't say that the Colonial fleet is more militant. At least in the Colonial Fleet the marines are the badasses. In Starfleet, EVERYONE is a badass first and foremost before their specialties.

Truly, though, after getting a feel for certain people aboard he should have spoken to them privately about the truth and that he'll try to get them to Federation territory as best he can. The only reason they survived is him and the only reason they reached the Federation is him. If they can't accept that then they do not deserve to survive.
Axcel chapter 3 . 2/11/2018
I think Adama, Thrace, and the rest of his friends and such are angry for a different reason than Felix thinks. They are angry he didn't trust them enough to tell them the truth. The average dumbass he works with is angry because they think he magically has tons of weapons knowledge and that their factories could miraculously produce said weapons.
Axcel chapter 2 . 2/11/2018
The differences is the Enterprise could just beam out a jump drive and steal all data from every computer and electronic device in the fleet. They are angry with Gaeta for not simply telling them where Earth is or some technological knowledge or something. They ignore the fact that he didn't know where Earth is relative to their location either, that he still navigated them as close to the target location as he could figure where the Federation generally was, that he isn't some super genius who has the blueprints of super tech in his brain or something, that he is one of the main reasons they are even still alive at all, that even if he did have blueprints in his head the colonials would be incapable of building anything even slightly approaching higher technology than they have.

They come off as quite stupid or just so desperate they have become delusional and suffer from something bordering on a psychosis.
Axcel chapter 1 . 2/11/2018
The best thing about the Federation is that if you break the law, even the Prime Directive, to do the right thing, they'll give you a medal and a pay raise. Their idea of Law and Justice is that Justice is always more important than Law. The opposite of the modern world.
Ivy Gort chapter 67 . 12/26/2017
This was a very well written and thought out story. You did an incredible job keeping the core characters to what we saw the show. They had to change with the story, but their traits were the same.

Again this was simply a very well written story. Thank you for sharing it an for your hardwark in producing it.
tptigger chapter 67 . 12/3/2017

quinn2219 chapter 44 . 10/18/2017
I like the story, but despise the wanton use of adverbs.
bearblue chapter 64 . 6/18/2017
I thoroughly, utterly, enjoyed this story. Thank you for sharing it. I thought about posting it at the end with the lost parts, but honestly, this particular time it seems more fitting to say it here. Wonderful story. Thank you! :)
