YAY! a sequel

Excellent first chapter. Normally I don't like to read a story until it is at least three chapters in, but since I liked the predecessor so much I thought I would just jump into the sequel. Excellent beginning, I can hardly wait to see how this goes.

What is up with Dumbles? The big bad is gone and yet he's still trying to control Harry? Maybe Dumbles isn't as light a wizard as we all think? Maybe he wants to run the wizarding world, but instead of being overt like Voldie, he wants to be the power behind the thrown? Maybe he wants to set up Harry as minister of magic someday, with him as the true power behind harry. Most sinister.

Would make a cool story though, because Harry could fight Voldie, out and out battle there clearly defined roles, Voldie Bad, Harry Good, Good Vs. Bad. But with Dumbles, everyone believes him to be a good guy, no one would expect him of trying to rule the wizarding world, even though he had the best of intentions, it would still be wrong to try and used Harry. Harry fighting with Dumbles even if it's not quite the same as his battles with Voldie, may not be perceived well. He could come off as arrogant and egotistical after defeating Voldie, while Dumbles looks the part of the wise old man, trying to provide gentle guidance. All the while Dumbles is trying to control Harry, and his money and prestige. See, much tougher battle for Harry than fighting Voldie. And I hope that is what you are doing, because that story would ROCK.

Excellent here, really enjoying the way that you explain things about the wizarding world. Seems funny that Dumbledore didn't seem to explain any of this stuff to Harry before, but an ignorant weapon can't ask so many questions maybe? Also enjoying the rapport that has sprung up between he and Snape, as well as with most of the other teachers, Sinestra seems to be very amenable to his suggesstions, and loved the way that Susan stood up for herself. Katie seems to be doing a bit of flirting, and Hermione is looking to be a little jealous, maybe because she has her own designs for Harry, or as a big sister looking out for her younger, nice brother, and Luna is a wild card. Can't wait to see more of this in the future.

Great start of the sequel - I am already looking forward to your updates - even if they take longer...
