Reading on my phone makes it a bit difficult to review after every chapter, so I'd like to say that the articles in past chapters were the best examples of Prophet articles I've seen in a fanfic. Yellow enough to be worthy of Rita Skeeter herself!

It's always been a little disappointing to me that I've never read a truly lurid fan-authored article when the Prophet is made out to be so sensationalist a paper, so well done there!

The double interpretation of 'lips' here did make me raise an eyebrow, but I suppose your explanation covers that. It still looks a bit... weird to less expert eyes.

I've been really loving the interaction between Neville and Draco - it's very nice to watch this most unlikely of friendships develop. Ron is very well characterized. And while I have to admit that the basic premise of the story (the Dream-Link, the Rule of Replacement) had tremendous potential for cheesiness, I think you've sidestepped most of that nicely.

I've been reading this straight through today, which for me says a lot on my opinion of the strength of the story, characters, and writing style. I look forward to finishing the rest of it tonight.

(And yes - I was the tiniest bit disappointed.)

Great story. Wonderful. And what's with Draco and Hermione? You seem to be hinting at something throughout the story like him having a small crush on her or am I just imagining that?

"Didn't you hear?" she said sweetly. "I thought the Hufflepuffs told everyone about him sweeping me off my feet in a passionate kiss in front of them. Tongues and everything."

Harry gaped and turned a little green.

"You're kidding me, right?" he said uneasily.

"Well, not in front of the Hufflepuffs," she said, even more sweetly.

I laughed so hard at this part! Enjoying the fic so far!

Just finished your story. Not bad. I liked how you incorporated the characters into their roles as the story progressed. But there were times when even I wished that Hermione just hexed Ron and Harry for their mouths about herself and Severus and she didn't do it. But on the other hand, I can understand your reasoning for not making her take such an action, being married and 'grown-up' now. Other that that, good story. Very well written.

Wow! This story was so amazingly good! I loved the whole plot with Hermione and Severus’ shared dreams and their prophetic nature. It was seriously original and I really enjoyed all the angst-y parts in the beginning with Hermione telling him and Dumbledore about them, and then of course Severus hostel reaction, finding out he was dreaming of his death too and not saying anything, and then them finally agreeing to get married to try and save him – all of it was extraordinary and each character and their reactions were PERFECTLY in character! I truly loved how you wrote every character in this.

I also ADORED the friendship between Neville and Draco. It was such a nice surprise to have them get along as well as they did, but was realistic as well with how you wrote them. Bravo with the incredible characterizations! It really was lovely to see them (especially Draco) let their guard down and express their inner most feelings – both of them grew as characters through their friendship (again, especially Draco). Poor Draco though, crushing on his Godmother and Hermione not even realizing that he felt that way about her. I wonder if Severus knew? I loved how you wrote Harry as well, and how he slowly grew up to be a better and more mature person by the end.

Hermione and Severus’ relationship was also incredibly well written. I LOVED the slow progression of their relationship and how there wasn’t instantly “I love you’s” or even attraction really – hell they weren’t comfortable around each other for awhile. It was definitely realistic and I serious enjoyed every time they grew a little closer – a little more comfortable with the other.

The ending was fantastic too. I LOVED the plan with Severus, Draco, Harry and even Lucius and how they defeated Voldemort. The whole thing was completely brilliant and I loved the mystery and suspense of what was happening, and going to happen. The twist with the polyjuice potion was especially amazing and pretty darn original as well.

Anyway, thank you so much for writing this fic! I had a wonderful time reading this from beginning to the end – it kept me utterly captivated throughout! Outstanding story!

if in hermione's dream if she is watching over severus battered corpse, what does severus see in his dream? hermione's battered corpse? and does he see her in the dream watching over his battered corpse and does she see him in the dream watching over his battered corpse?

in chapter 8 hermione said that she thinks that in order to also save severuses life that harry and hermione) should learn Legilimency but here it says he is gonna teach them Occlumency make up your mind!

hermione is teaching and is a Junior Professor in Charms, Transfigurations and Defense? I thought she was only teaching etc Defense against the dark arts?

so is hermione not sitting with the students but sitting at the head table? also what does this mean? Now here's a good example

I watched the movie on friday and even tough I loved the scenes with Snape (It's Alan, he can't get it wrong xD), my Snape's urge wasn't satisfied, so I came here and read this marvelous story that I knew would make me happy... and it did!

Once again, I'm amazed at how brilliantly you write him )
