I knew it! *punches the air in glee* I knew Jareth knew something he wasn't saying! Good chapter, I liked the humor in it unlined with seriousness. Please, please don't leave us hanging until tomorrow for the talk between them. Toria's going to either try or succeed in screwing up this dinner. But maybe with the Healer's help and Oberon (if he and Titania make it in time) Jareth will be spared and so will Sarah. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I always find myself more than a little impatient to read the next chapter when it comes to your work. This time, I'm more impatient than ever!

Erm... she was naked through that entire conversation? How insane is that? And why did she have to get naked in the first place? How many women, and I don't care how comfortable they are with their bodies, want to disrobe for a doctor and their lover in the same room? Why wouldn't Jareth find it creepy? Why wouldn't Sarah? She's so accustomed to being nude in front of people? I find the chapter very odd, with her remaining unclothed while they argue. Hmm. Unless I missed her getting dressed or you forgot to insert it. If it were me, I'd have insisted Jareth leave the room (it's totally different than when you're being intimate... it's a dignity thing; it's a privacy thing), that is IF I even saw good reason for getting naked in the first place. What was he looking for... bruising? Some telltale sign? Then what? I think you need a better reason for having her get undressed. Very odd indeed...

And I keep forgetting to mention, just because you have it in your summary as well as a few chapters, that college is spelled with an e, not an a. Collage is a collection of photos stuck together hodge-podge. College is the school.

Another truly great chapter! A plate of enchiladas poblanos (my favorite) because I enjoyed reading this so much! I really like the way you have woven the humor factor in to their situation. I laughed out loud several times while reading this. You'll see my single point of constructive crit in chapter 4.

“Hear that, I’m interesting.” She teased Jareth to take off some of the tension. Yawning as if bored, Jareth looked away, “I’ve always found you so, precious.”

2. “From the start, and leave nothing out, boy.” He raised a hand. “I know you, I’ve known you since you were born, don’t try telling me you’d leave nothing out! I still remember who started that little fire in your step mothers garden! All because you wanted to see a volcano.”

Snerk.

3. OH sure you did, right after using him to blackmail me into staying here to…to…” She stopped trying to defend or protest, she screamed. “Oh go soak your head!”

Jareth pulled his head out of the tub and turned. “Two can play that game, precious!”

ROTFL.

4."Jareth, I’m sure your father explained the ramifications of taking a paramour..."

Um - we need more explanation about this. I'm starting to get frustratedly lost on the difference between paramour, concubine, and wife and exactly what the magical ramifications are. IMHO, it's time to clarify this for your readers. We are now past chapter 20, so I'm gonna start bugging you. :)

5. “How do I get though a state dinner without having something happen because of a misspoken word?”

Given the guests, why would you WANT to, girl? Let all hell break loose...

6. "but he was impressed. The girl had wished to ‘look like a Goblin Queen’. She had not wished to be one."

And why is this impressive? I think my cnofusion harks back to my point in #4. It's gotten to the point where I need more info to appreciate what you are writing here.

Uh...Toria gets rancid sausage for being embarrassingly stupid.

Point two. Case finished. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Nacho platter for you today. You did a wonderful job writing the dialogue between Roan, Jareth and Sarah. Jareth and Sarah do make more sense when they act like naughty children. The whole scene was simply great and also helped me piece together some things that seemed out of place from prior chapters.

Oh - and Sarah gets some nice blueberry muffins for not being a pathetic sop and ASKING Jareth about her concerns like an adult instead of sulking in a corner.

Tut tut, Toria just doesn't learn her lesson does she :P

I like the twist with Sarah having those wishing, powery, thingies. Very cool.

Can't wait to see what happens next!

mwuahahah, I love Sarah's powers...I laughed when she sent herself in a bath fully clothed...I still hate Toria beyond anything even mushrooms...and I do hate mushrooms alot...Can't wait for more...wow...

I'm gonna rush on here first thing after work tomorrow in hope of something new to chew on...

Hmm, possibilities. She could be with child. She could be metamorphosizing. She could be bonding with the Castle/Labyrinth. She could be recalibrating. Or she could be something else entirely. I await the answer eagerly. :D

This chapter had just the right amount of humor in it. I love how much you've updated today, every time I open up my internet there's another chapter notification from you BRAVA!

I wonder what is going on with Sarah, does Jareth know something but not saying anything? The only reason I ask is because when she told him she trusted him he swallowed his guilt. Was it from his past wrong doings or from what I said earlier or something he is doing or going to do? Hm...As I said at my very first chapter review, intriguing, very intriguing.

This is either a tender and well-cherished partnership between husband and wife or a clever ploy on Titania's part. I await and read...

Ok...I liked this chapter...I really did...but I wanted to see Jareth and Sarah together...damn it's a great cliffhanger...what is the report about that Both High King and Queen have to go to the castle beyond the Goblin City?...

I like you all over again now...how nicely did you fix things...you're wonderful...I have Toria/Braden SO MUCH...I loved when Jareth gave her a taste of his medecine...and I hate HER for toying with Sarah's mind...surely this will bring a conflict between the King and Sarah...damn...

Can't wait for more ... especially the interaction between Jareth and Sarah that will fallow the 'ride' part...

Oh and what about those powers Sarah came up with...could she be...na I'll leave it there...better be surprised...
