Reviews for One Sang High and the Other Sang Low |

![]() ![]() ![]() I 3 this story beyond all measure. Jess thinking Sam is a gypsy is amazing - as is the way he is *so clueless* about it until she spells it out for him (not that I can blame him; he has a lot on his mind!) You've made Jess into an interesting and likeable character; I wish she and Sam could have had more of a future together. This line made my own heart swell: "he could no more not stop for her than he could stop his heart from beating." Dean appearing on the scene was a treat; thank you for not leaving it with Sam leaving and not looking back. Thank you for writing and posting this gem! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing! Beatuifully written! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw! How stinkin sweet is that? Another great story Refur! I love how you broke the scenes down into short little intervals - just enough for us to get where Sam is at mentally. I love this; the interactions between Sam and Jess. Sam's thoughts for Jess - the longing and simple awe he has for her is just so stinkin sweet! And I love how Jess somehow comes to the conclusion that Sam is a gypsy because he avoids all talk about his family and borrowed that book. It was really cute. And then of course the last scene with Dean and Sam in the car - GUH! That scene definately deserved a SQUEE ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I loved this, it was wonderful. I loved Sam's thoughts everytime he was with Jess. It showed how much he loved her and what she meant for him. And the meeting with Dean was just perfect. It was so sad when Sam just walked away from him at first, but later in the car ... that was so like them :) Thank you for another excellent story :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() i love how it was all about family in the end, and Sam being in love was so cute! and when Sam just upped and left Dean, that was ... MEAN bu the ending was sweet! Nice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't know how you're doing it! Another great story! I loved it. I was really angry at Sam when he told Dean to leave him alone, but he redeemed himself. Great job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this look at Sam. How he is falling in love with Jess. Not wanting to get involved in hunting but being pulled in anyway. How Dean shows up at the end. The brotherly banter. This has a little bit of everything. I am just repeating myself but your writing is just that good. More to come? I pray it is so! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm glad this ended happy. There is a ton of heartbreaking Stanford fic (which I enjoy very much, too, because, hi, Dean angst!) and this was refreshing. Very nice characterization. I loved the gypsy bit. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really loving this whole fic-a-day thing your doing, 'cos your turning out some really wonderful pieces like this one. That last exchange between Dean and Sam was so very them, if you know what I mean. Looking forward to the next fic! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fluff! -pur- You, Your Honour, have made me a happy girl! Fluff! And that's all I can think about now...except that Jess thinking Sam's a gypsy was adorable, and Sam sort of losing it every time he's with her, and Dean, and...all of it. It's late, there was way too much sugar in the hot chocolate, I was in desperate need of cute, adorable fluff... So I'll just bow, say 'Thank You' and move into the corner to giggle myself asleep. Thank You. |
![]() ![]() ![]() lol... gypsy! good fic |
