Errrr... that was a really uncomfortable chapter. Not how you wrote it- it was great- but just what happened. Things are going to go downhill from here. (nuuu!)

OH MY GOSH. What just happened? That was... oh gosh... that's not good... what... who... why...

AHHHHHHHHHHH.

Oh my word. There is so much foreshadowing in this chapter that I don't know what to do. I guess I'll just have to keep reading.

Poor Allen. He's handled this all really well, all things considering. I'm glad that he's finally realized that Mana really loves him, no matter how things go and how bad the fits are and if he yells back and runs away. :)

This worked out well. As soon as I realized that the circus would be full of 'freak' shows, I got nervous about how Allen would take it. But he did well. And he would be accepted by these people. None of them are like another, but they're all like each other in that they are different. That was nice. You described the atmosphere really well. And I liked the interaction between Mana and Nick.

I'm glad things are coming together. They know how to save the place when there aren't enough customers and he's having a great birthday and Allen's being so adorable and amazing and they're going to meet up with Nick and see things at the circus. That nightmare was unsettling, especially since it's actually foreshadowing, but we still have a while before we get to that state.

And they match. :3

That sounds like it ended up being a good vacation for them. It was terrible that Mana got sick, but Allen was really really cute when he took care of him.

Ah, the vacation is going to be a nice break from Mana's piecing together Allen's fits and what causes them (the graffiti on the sidewalk... :/). Of course, I'm sure you'll come up with plenty of things to happen to make up for that. And I love the ending. Father. So... adorable. :'3

I liked the outing with Marie and Allen getting food and ice cream. It was pretty funny and went as well as could possibly be expected. The trip to the office afterward, however, was not so good. I hate Smith. I really hate him. And that he goaded and punched Mana and then that he made Allen break down like that and have to revisit his old life in order to comfort Mana for how he thought he was hurt. :'(

Oh gosh. Things are coming together and Allen KNEW. He knew about the murder. The akumas. And Mana is realizing that he knew and it's terrible and things are so much bigger than just him. Gah.

Haha. What a date that was! It was going so very well, too, before he phrased that wrong and Marie jumped to all of the wrong conclusions. Screaming and slapping him in front of everyone. And then it pours and Allen's got a fever and the police show up looking for him. It is a terrible rotten no good very bad day.

It was nice seeing Allen being able to play with some other kids his own age. He's never really had that opportunity and even though it was intimidating and embarrassing, I think it was a good experience for him. Too bad that he has another fit. Ah. And the date is coming up...

I like how that business interview turned out. His boss seems like a really understanding and awesome guy. And now he gets to spend more time with Marie. That will be nice.

I love how Allen's voice is turning out and how you've written in his lilt and drawl. :)

Awesome. I really like how the party turned out. Even though it ended up being a bad night, some good things came out of it. And... at least... now we know that Allen will fight to protect Mana and that the guy doesn't have to worry about rent again. XP

"… Don't throw me away, ok?… please…" - oh my gosh. You really know how to tug on someone's heartstrings, don't you? That is one of the most emotionally depressing things I've ever read. It's terrible. Ahhhhhhhh.

I really love the way this chapter ended up, even though there are so many terrible things in it. An akuma triggering another fit. A teddy bear bringing up bad memories...
