| Torchbug chapter 20 . 5/27/2012
You know how girls fangirl over Honey and Hikaru/Kaoru from Ouran? No? Well, I'm sitting here screaming "KAWAII!" for lack of a better term. It's adorable. Mana
and...is Nick the Nea figure? are portrayed in a much more favorable light. And how Allen was abused on the streets? That's just terrible.
I guess you'll hear from me again at the end of this. I can't help but cheer when I see the number of chapters I have left.

Beautifull! I loved it! Soo well written and so well structured! Well done! :D I can easily think this actually happened in the manga lool well great job! I really enjoyed it, this is one of those hard to find fanfics that make you go on an emotional rollecoaster! Lool it was that good:D Thanks for making such a great fanfic!
| VivaNewVegas chapter 43 . 12/14/2011
Very good story. Answered quite a few questions. Left some, like did Mana have a brother named Neah? Cause the only 'brother' was Nick, and he was a school buddy.
| fleeting . white . feathers chapter 43 . 12/12/2011
Beautiful! I love it! Just one thing I noticed though- how come Allen's "nails" hurt Mana in chapter...40, was it? Innocence can't hurt normal people. Ah well. This story made my day! I absolutely love it!
| Rin28 chapter 30 . 8/7/2011
Im so upset...
| Rin28 chapter 21 . 8/6/2011
all the forshadowing is making me nervous...I loved Maddie :D
| Rin28 chapter 9 . 8/5/2011
awww~ this is so wonderful
I like how the story is not in a rush. the slow pace to which Allen is getting acustomed to the world makes it seem more realistic
| moonphase95 chapter 43 . 7/31/2011
This story is by far the best, most organised and in depth story I have ever read. You are an amazing author. You even made me cry at the end. I implore you to keep writing, as it was a beautiful piece of literature, and I look forward ro viewing your other works.
| IAmABookDragon chapter 43 . 3/14/2011

| River Flows Backwards chapter 43 . 2/2/2011
I knew by the first chapter that I would end up crying while reading this and, guess what? I did! Gah... this was an amazing fict: funny, cute, sad, and just... so real. Haha I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to look at the manga the same again after reading this. I feel like this was REAL and, well... Just. This is an amazing fict.

| NykSkyBlue chapter 18 . 9/21/2010
Hello, I’ve read 17 chapters so far, yeah and all in one sitting it so beautiful, so in depth. You’ve really been able to capture Mana’s and Allen’s characters. I love how you were able to place Akuma in there without mentions that what they really are. I really can’t what to read more, and I plan to. So love your work and keep it up! :D XoXo
| Howlingwolf94 chapter 43 . 6/18/2010
This...words cannot describe the true brilliance and eloquence you put forth into this story. It's truly astounding. The detail, the development, the events, it's all truly amazing. It flowed, and hinted to events that would inevitably happen. Out of ALL the d. gray-man fics I've read, this feels the truest to the canon story line. I mean, if we didn't have this whole confusion about the 14th and who he is at the moment, this story would fit in well. And it also helps that your use of words to create a mental image was staggering.
To me, everything, every reaction and every conflict, felt authentic. Nothing seemed force and each character developed on their own one way or another. This was truly amazing and really fun to read. If it hadn't been a recommentation to read this, I would have never known about this story. I'm glad I actually took the time to read this, despite the fact that it took several sittings. I shall now go read Cross
