I have to say that I absolutely loved it! Good job - I'm currently writing my own James and Lily fanfic, but it'll be influenced by me and multiple other stories and my research. I'll avoid using any unique ideas of yours as best I can. If you wanna read it it'll be called A Stag and a Doe in a Castle - only I haven't really started it properly yet. First chapter should be out by end of March this year (2023).

It's a nice fanfic but the plot is entirely focused on Lily and James. I would like to see more of the marauders
